  1. this magnet qould be really to big. something around 6mm would be fine. yes there is soldering involved. you need to solder out the potentiometer and solder in the hal sensor. for testing i had the throttle connected to my computer, easiest and cheapest solution.
  2. That's exactly what it is about. (And some adjustments of the magnet to apply its field in a good spot on the sensor.) Nope, size does not matter, its all about the strength of the magnet. I would go with the 6mm magnet. Leaves you enough space to adjust the position of the sensor right. When I was doing this hack, it took me like half an hour to put the parts in and ssome couple of hours to adjust the sensor, that i use exactly the part of the magnetic field, that gives me the best values and the widest possible range on my axis. The Voltage should not be the problem. there is a voltage margin in which electronic parts work. a little bit less voltage should normally not be a problem. it would be bad, if it was much more voltage. Did you also use the A1302?
  3. I prefer this one: Jira. (Normally I prefer open source solutions, but this one is so nice. ) But I don't see this happen... :noexpression:
  4. i built one of these sensors into my cougar throttle two days ago. took me 5h to bring the sensor and magnet in the right position, to use the whole axis. but now it's working like a charme. :joystick: best 3EUR hack ever.
  5. are you using a cougar with t.a.r.g.e.t? cause there are some problems with axis. :smilewink:
  6. aber die sam in dcs sieht dich eben durch die bäume, selbst dann wenn du komplett für sie von einem baum verdeckt bist. und die sam kann eben auch durch den baum durchschiessen. (du aber auch)
  7. that's new to me.
  8. mag ich auch unterstreichen.
  9.
  10. you were quicker, than we were. :noexpression: we started to code a tool similar to yours, but it's not finished yet...
  11. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Megahertz_myth go there, read and learn. ;)
  12. it's not a specific page, every page gives me a 403. I send you a pm.
  13. is it just me, or does everybody get a 403, when trying to load the page?
  14. i would prefer the randomization solution. it would be perfect for multiplayer.
  15. Is it right, that all tasks always are given to you in the same order? Played it two times, and it was like this. Is it possible to have a random order?
  16. something i was always wondering about... :noexpression:
