  2. Someone tried to add another airbase or map details in the vast areas of plain green with a mod? Would that be possible?
  3. Want to sell my old G940 set since I got the Warthog now. It's in reasonable condition, pedals got their center spring removed but it can be reinstalled. Rubberthingy under the stick has a hole - looks like material fatigue. Only issues known: not that exact in the inner 5% of the stick but I think that's a problem with all of the G940s I don't like to send it so if anyone is in Berlin (Germany) or nearby you can fetch it and of course take a testflight first.

  5. But is there any hint in the 3D world witch side a AB belongs to? Flag or something like that? Or do I fist have to land and check if they refuel or not. Would be a nice mod! A Flagpost near tower with the country or coalition flag or color :)
  6. Cause I can hardly read the Numbers on the CDU, let alone the small text on the other buttons. See the PS mockup for a hint what I mean. It's bad cause one can still not read the text on the upper button row but I think it makes clear what I want to accomplish. I have the mod here on the disk, I like his BS pit but I don't really like the A-10 pit cause it's too worn and has dirty screens. Quality is amazing - but I don't like the stain. Nontheless it has the same problem - can't read buttons when looking down. But I don't need a mod - if there is a hint how to make these buttons readable with some graphics setting I'm done :D (AA was turned off for the screenshot, had radeonpro not running)
  7. Anyone knows if there is a mod that changes the font color of the buttons from "grey button with white letters" to "bright button with black letters"? Or, then I'll do it myself, a tutorial on how to change dds texture files in Photoshop CS3? I found some DDS-plugins from Nvidia but they don't show up in Photoshop.
  8. Work, have done it before. Copy the folder and search with regedit for the old path in the registry and change it to the new location.

  11. Tested and sadly still no syching with the HOTAS controls. And some funtions where not presend in the files also (EAC ARM had a command, EAC OFF not and such things). Seems I'm stuck at making my own profile in TARGET.
  12. Same here :) I'll check... Yes they are present and have the same size. They're not. Jup, it's machine specific. But can be changed. Yes found that out yesterday also after repeatet tries and deletions of the input folder in "saved games". Dammn. To bad. Thought it's maybe because the throttle get's recognized as "5-axis 32-button Joystick with multiwayswitch". But if it's not the name.... Thanks for the files :) I'll try them and see if it changes anything in regards of sychronizing.
  13. Done. All buttons and axis(axes?axe) work as expected Target was not even running. Also not the script editor. It only assigns the default joystick profile to the throttle and the stick. For the stick most of the buttons where correct. Throttle was total off I would at least want to try fully integrated autodetected and sychronised play :cry_2: Have made a TARGET profile for the throttle only now but... meh... Maybe someone has a idea how to fix this?
  14. Hello alltogether. Finally I got my Warthog HOTAS Set and plugged it in after following the setup instructions of the Software. (Installing driver, unplug, installing TARGET, reboot, replug) I thought that DCS Worlds A-10C should autodetect the HOTAS set and use the correct settings. It did.. to about 40%. CMS, DMS, TMS, ... work but trim switch and trottle was totally wrong. Throttel had its axis for pitch and roll ^^ and not one switch had ANY function (Sync also dont works) Anyway to tell DCS to correctly detect my set? Tried deleting users/saved games/config/input/A10c/joystick/* but did not help. Greetings

  18. Is there anywhere a documentation about whats possible with autoexec.cfg? I know the textfile in DCS/Config but that explains only the basics like options.graphics.maxfps = 60; Can other things also done in this file? Lets say camera parameters, MFD_render_params, etc... Would be nice to preserve settings without having to use a mod manager and to see after each update if there is something new in the unmodded files.
  19. Shure I see them. Never said BRA is the holy grail :D Think I'll make me a mission with random targets and disable my radar so I can practice :pilotfly: You guys have maps on the table or do you use F10? Always thought of cheating me a bit by using it...
  20. ... I'm not stupid but that really makes me headaches. I watched tutorials and read about the concepts but it's not getting into my head how one is supposed to nagivate upon bullseye calls without a map in seconds - or is it my false expectation of "how to" that is the problem? When I have a map and some time its clear how to navigate. This video is quite perfect in explaining it: BUT! Am I supposed to watch a map and draw lines (real or in my mind) while flying a jet/chopper in a combat environment? There must be some easy way to do this... there is a easy idea, is it? 'Cause the other idea is calculating everything in with cosine and triangle calculations since every call is "just" the length of two lines (Distance me => Bulls & Bulls => Target) and the angle inbetween them (My course to bullseye contrariwise and the enemy angle to bulls and then substract the smaller from the bigger number = angle between the two courses as seen from bullseye). But am I supposed to do that in my mind? Everthing that involves cosine I normally do on a calculator :music_whistling: Dammit why can't everthing be given in BRA? Would be much easyer!

I have no problem with frequent patches at least if it's technical done like the way now with a autoupdater - I hate downloading and manually installing patches all the time - that's so '90s :D I understand that it's quite frustrating to have a patch and see it breaking the game (had problems myself) - but at least I can revert to some older patchlevel and fly that at least in single player. For multiplayer patches-gone-wrong are a big problem. But with frequent patches I can also hope that the next one will be here in the nearest future and make things better - hopefully. With infrequent patches I'm maybe stuck with a problem for months. I like the way it's now but 1.2.6 was really a pita also. What I would really love to see is some kind of public bugtracker with keywords and where we can see what's the matter with the diffent bugs and their priority and work done on them. There are some nice systems for that on the market.
  22. At least thanks for that video. I had this problem the first time about a week ago or didn't realised it before.... thought of ... "What the hell is broken now??:joystick:"... Recalibrated Joystick and uninstalled every mod I had just to find out what was going on... So it's a featurebug! Thanks again for making me stop searching :D

  24. Attached Mission WILL crash after around 14 minutes in flight. Tested it three times - three times it crashed. No comms involved only a few groundtargets and a single KA-50. Complete System was not at limits while playing. Graphics RAM: 1.1 GB of 3GB used CPU: was around 30% all the time RAM: 6 of 12 GB used Windows Log: DCS Crashog: Anyone can do the mission and see if it crashes too? Maybe it helps the bughunt if we find more reproducible errors. Mission: Start - Fly to Waypoint 1. fire with Vikhrs only from max range at the targets at WP1 (ZU-23, Trucks, BMP, ... - so stay out of Range and don't get shot) Mission will crash at 14 minutes since "Fly" - targets down for me around 90% at this time Order of targets don't makes any difference.   25. Just another crash while flying the KA-50 first quick action mission "attack insurgents" Windows error reporting: Crashlog from DCS: No commucations from my side involved in the whole mission. Yesterday I flew some rounds with the F-15C and there was not a single crash - maybe its a help... In dcs.log the last entry was 00109.312 ERROR SOUND: source_is_playing(-1): invalid source Maybe its just a missing sound file?
