Experienced this bug primarily on the Nevada Through the Inferno - Red Flag Sandbox instant action mission. I was able to replicate this twice on the same mission on separate sessions. On missions with few or zero map markers, I didn't experience this issue. Once the issue is caused, the Jester UI becomes completely unresponsive, not responding to any inputs or binds and staying even in the external view. DTED would be a very useful thing to have when designating using the A/G radar through clouds from a target point with different elevation data from the designation

Yep a lack of DLC was causing the issue, just tried it and ACLS is working now thanks for the help

I'm using the Case 3 super carrier instant action caucus mission that comes with the F-14, which only has one carrier so I told jester to tune the data link frequency for it in and then checked myself in the back seat if he'd done it correctly (he did, green light was illuminated) I'm unable to provide a track at the moment so hopefully that helps Does ACLS work any differently for the SC? Do I need to talk to the carrier properly on the radio for ACLS to work?

On the needles, on speed, landing configuration with AP and ACL mode engaged. The A/P CPLR light never shows up, pressing the AP Reference Button does nothing either I also tried this with full flaps instead of just DLC just in case, same result. Datalink tuned in, followed all the steps in Redkite's video. CMD CONTROL is showing but the tomcat autopilot doesn't make any corrections to follow the needles and sends me into the water.
