  1. Not sure if any of those would work. Just seems odd that there is no way for a company to do e-commerce these days. I thought it had caught on everywhere, not just US. It appears though, that most of these places charge quite a bit if you dont have a US bank account. Maybe this is the reason ED hasnt chosen a service yet, they are all just too expensive for the level of business they will do. Best bet, may be just to wait for the box.

  4. Also, from what I have read on the internet, ever since the Patriot Act no offshore business can get a US bank account. And since the litigation with Paypal over here, it was ruled that they were a bank, and so this is probably where ED had problems. Supposedly though, I have read some stuff that say you can get a US bank account with a TIN (in place of a SSN) and a US postal address.
  5. I just find it hard to believe, that all russian companies, without a US bank account, are unable to do business in the US. There has to be other option. Like I posted in the payment forum, have they thought about doing it old school and taking checks or money orders or something. It may be slow, but you would still be selling the product.
  6. Considering the size of your shadow in the second pic, its not all that close. They are hard to see, but then again, they are IRL also. Just think, there is less foliage here. Imagine trying to spot one of those things in the bushes =)
  7. Ebay might not be a bad idea, do one of the Ebay store fronts, and just set a 'buy it now' price.
  8. The A10 isnt a SAM hunter. You can try all day long, but thats not its mission. And if you succeed at it, call yourself lucky. If you just manage to evade the SAM, call yourself lucky. If you die, dont be surprised.
  9. I thought that in the F15, currently, TWS does give a launch warning before the missle goes active? I thought that was one of the bugs talked about. Maybe I am just confused. Anyways, this is what the RWR does. Only recieves. The radar has to be on, in order to recieve. When looking at a jamming signal, its looking at the noise, versus the reflection.
  10. The problem is, it seems, the missiles are being spoofed way to far away, and make no effort to re-acquire after being spoofed. Even if a chaff does distract the missle from 2 miles away, it should be able to re-acquire as the chaff plume will fade quickly.
  11. If you are asking me.......... only stutters with AWACS transmittion. I use the tower all the time, and nothing. No issues with RAM, 1GB, and the most I have seen LOMAC use is about 650MB. And no disk activity all the time.
  12. Well, gonna have to get it, to have a chance at Mustang. Better eat your Wheaties too. =) Or bring a lunch. You may need it, with all the time spent on the tarmac.
  13. The lag issue I am speaking of, isnt necessarily lag. Even with 100ms ping, the effect is seen. So I am not sure if this is the stuttering effect. Or if they are seperate issues. The only time I have seen 'stutter', like the game pausing kinda, is when AWACS transmitts. And I use enditall2, so there is nothing besides whats needed to play. OS stuff, trackir software, Saitek software, soundcard software. Could it be a sound issue? You guys updated some of the sounds, did you also update the code in which the sounds were deployed/processed?
  14. Vosxod, as a far as I have read, I think the F15 giving lock warning when locking HOJ is a bug? In normal STT lock, the radar is using a reflection of the target to lock. When using ECM, the jamming aircraft is attempting to scramble or uh jam the emitting aircrafts radar signal that is returned. Its just providing lots of 'intelligent' disinformation. Distance is a big factor in this. Once the emitter gets closer, its more able to seperate the garbage jam signal from the true radar reflection. Because the radar reflection gets stronger. HOJ really should just provide pre-guidance until burn-through. HOJ data is much less accurate that using the radar reflection. Or should be at least. And as you stated, HOJ is passive. There should be nothing to give the jamming aircraft notice its being locked. Hence the term passive. Just like EOS.
  15. I think if they accepted checks or money orders, it would have been quicker for most people. What about that as an option, is it an option? And regard to the US bank account...... You dont have any ties in the US to open an account? Tell ya what. I will open one for ya, and you can just give me a.......... 1% gratuity =D
  16. From the first link I posted, if you go to Part 1, almost at the bottom. It shows some radar antennae examples. I believe that the aircraft use the slotted kind. This will create large amounts of diffraction. Because of this, there is a large amount of positive and destructive interference. This is needed to create a more uniform wavefront, which in turn makes it easier to exploit the dopplershift of the radar reflection.
  17. Thats what I was referring to with the AWACS transmissions. That causes the pausing. everytime. Though I havent seen anything else yet cause it.
  18. Dont think kevlon has 1.1 yet? Just the impression I got from other posts.
  19. Most of the diffraction we see in almost all wave emitters is due to side diffraction. Which in a true sense, isnt necessarily diffraction, but side 'leakage'. There are also effects due to side lobes interfering with the main emission. I managed to find a good side on radar cross sections and stuff. Though it doesnt have much to do with diffraction, it is still some good reading. http://www.microwaves101.com/encyclopedia/absorbingradar2.cfm#phenomenology
  20. I love the Su25T. I am a mud mover at heart. If it came to A2A, I would say the F15. But currently its pretty horked, so I dont fly much A2A. When I do, its not the F15, but any of the Russian aircraft. But since I am not to sauvy with em, I seem to have no situational awareness sometimes. A2A is much harder now. I need to practice more.
  21. Lots of pages to read here, so i dont know if it was mentioned. Sorry..... But noticed, along with other 169th, that when the AWACS transmitts a message to you, the game also stutters for a second. Every single time. And then of course I have noticed the same thing with MP. The constant stuttering. Almost every single plane has a constant stutter to it, nose pitches up and down, and lag related stuff. Usually doesnt lag or stutter far, like when pings are seriously high.
  22. According to what we know about defraction, the wave will only defract after the aperture if the wavelength is larger than the aperture. This is what is done with a double-slit experiment. So what you said is close, but is very dependant on the wavelength. * Edit * FYI if any wave diffracted after an aperture, photolithography (my profession) wouldnt be possible. There would be too much diffraction to make the 130/90/65 nm lines we do for microchips.
  23. LOL, funny. Is there really already a key? I will check when i get home.
  24. ************ Deleted by Moderator ************ Prophet, I gave rekoal hell for posting that link and then you go re-posting it in the same damn thread?! You just got yourself banned. - JJ.
  25. From what I understand, it is correct that in the US, if a manufacturer doesnt provide replacement media when damaged, then the consumer has the right to copy it. And you dont have the right to copy for the purpose of distribution, you do have the right to back it up though.
