I wonder if it would be possible to kill someone from dropped tanks. Im gonna have to try this on some flybys sometime. LOL, man I would love to see some screens of that. -

The solution, would be to find out what singles out your machine. What do you do, that I dont. I mean, I have burners, and starforce, and no problems. So what makes there an issue on yours. Does starforce in fact, interfere with the operation of other drivers? ED should have lots of information on what Starforce actually does. It could be a BIOS revision problem, or a number of things. But in all honesty, you have always paid for a license to use software. In that license you are granted the permission to copy it to a CD for backup or such. I am sure the law only applies to situations in which the contract or EULA you agree to, doesnt cover CD copying. I havent read it, but I am sure that its in the FC EULA. And as people have said, they can copy the executable to a CD. -

Not only stealthier, but not using CW saves power input, and increased power output. -
You would, but you dont seem to provide enough information. And troubleshooting over an internet forum is difficult. There are many culprits it seems, but the RAM mights be the biggest. If it is taking too long to load, and you time out..........? Thats what it sounds like.

Its very sad that the prowlers jamming will not get modelled. I have heard from a marine that worked on em, that they could make enemy radar 'see' a spike where ever they pleased.

Yeah, and its not a huge deal on either end. For us, its would just be 'nice' for mission building. You can figure it out now, but its not visual, you are kinda guessing. And I wouldnt think it would be that hard to code. But like I have said, I dont know software, so I could be very wrong. -
I dont consider the FF bug to be all that bad. Its annoying to say the least. But I have never had a problem with letting the missle hit me, then recover OK. I saw that most the time people would quit out instead, and this just made the FF bug more persistant.

Also, once the radar transitions from HOJ to STT at burn through, I would also expect a lock tone on the recieving end. Would be nice if TWS worked like its supposed to also. These seem like minor issues to me. I dont know software coding, so I could definately be very wrong. -

I havent done much testing, but I thought this was the case in 1.02? I always assumed it was. It would be great though, if it was a passive attack. The only passive attacks that I knew of for the F15, was flood with the 7, and visual with the 120. And of course the 9 is passive in uncaged or even just radar off. -

Yeah, I dont get the people yelling at ED for this issue. Granted I have had my hot-headed moments, so I cant say much. But honestly, ED seems to have had no control over this one. -
An idea for the next patch, if there is one on the horizon. 1.11? Anyways. When making a mission, you can change the heading of ground targets and such. If they have a radar, it just shows a 360deg circle. But as we are learning, not all the radar have a 360deg coverage. It would be nice to see the effective arc of the radar. Sorry if this has already been suggested.

Ok, I will increase the mission size so there is enough targets for 12 SU25T, and add more planes for 12 players. If I can get the mission mod'd at lunch, it will be up on HL in about 6 hours. If not until after work, in 12 hours.

It seems to me that there are more reports of people without problems, as there are of people with. I have a Plextor external DVD burner, no problems. I have some cheapo internal CD burner, no problems. I had no issues with having to reactivate StarForce. I have also spen $$$ into a new system; AMD64 3500 939pin MSI Neo-2 Plat 6800gt 256MB 2x512MB RAM, forgot what speed but its correct for the system. Anyways, I have paid lots aside to lockon, just for lockon. No problems, and I am very pleased with the SU25T. It adds a new great element to the game, and the missions that can be made. -
I have put a server in hyperlobby for the last 3 days I think. The game or computer have yet to crash. I have had no PM's of any warping or lag issues. I only have it set with 4 people to be in, yet I think I have yet to fill all 4 slots. The only issue I had was yesterday, the 3 hop in my network to a dive. But nothing I could do, or even related to Lockon. In 1.02, This was an issue, you couldnt run a server that long. Seemed things started getting corrupted, people would lag. Havent seen the 'nuke' bug, that caused some problems, or super high pings crash the server yet.

The HSI still stops updating when not in NAV mode.

Still do what I said, try to eliminate any single stick as the problem. Also the HDD stuff. It definately sounds like a system slowdown problem.

What does windows report for RAM? Run a RAM benchmark or analyzer, maybe a bad stick? I see you have 1.5G? Is that 3 512M, or is there a 1G in there? Either way, downgrade to 1GB. If you have 3 512M, rotate the one out.

I dont feel any shame. Not sure if Ice doesnt like my opinion. He will say so if he does. And they owe me 1.1. Thats what I am here for =). As a paying customer, I have the right to get upset at another deadline missed. I havent paid yet, but I will. And I like it here, maybe I will just have to sit next to you all the time =)

I still stand on my opinion that even if the release date was pushed, it didnt need to wait till the very very very very very last second to tell us. Now, they may have hoped that they would have gotten it out today, but they knew they didnt have a good chance. Otherwise the wait wouldnt be 'about a week'.

I agree with Deadcat. They have to expect some criticism. Actually a lot of criticism. You 'adults' act like the rest of us dont have jobs either. No offense, but if I missed this many deadlines, in as little time........canned. C ya. Bye Bye now. Like I said, if there was a competative game for Lockon, either this crap wouldnt happen, or people would be buying the other game. And if I was told Christmas was on the 25th of Dec, and then at Midnight of the 24th, Santa called and said he couldnt make it cause the sled broke, well I dont care how old I am, I would still be pissed. I would think that if no one was pissed it wasnt released, then no one would really care that the game was even released.
