I agree. Maybe this sim isnt quite for you. To only fly a dumbed downed version of the pig is kind of a slap in ED's face. Its like buying a Ferrari and never taking it out of first gear.

Kind of just remembered that ive pre-ordered the Tackpack but havent flown the bug in well over a year. With the solid gold that ED has been pumping out lately I dont even think i could fly anything else. Viva la pig. :thumbup:

Hey everyone, Anyone know how hard it would be to add country flags as placeable objects in the sim? Id like to be able to have each airport home to different blue or red countries and be able to fly their own flag. If it showd wind direction as well then that would be all the better. Wishful thinking?

Yeah Ive wished for a stand alone ME for a while. Id love to be able to create something off my gaming rig, but without pushing the fly button it would be hard to confirm unit placement or sight lines...etc.

Also on tac view after the flight it always shows me landing off of the runway even though it was bang on during the flight. Is that because of the same issue?

Ha...I was one of the ones going down. I heard a MIG fly by and I started typing "Holy shit I think I just heard one"...then he killed me. That was a pretty sweet mission, wish I didnt come in so late.

Ive got mine set to 1.0 speed and 100 smooth and it works for me. One thing i wish I could tweek would be the zoom I get from looking to the left? My reciever is attached to the right side of my headset so when I turn my head it sees the reciever getting closer or further away. i had it pretty good for FSX but for some reason it never got that good for DCS A10.

Imagine how it will be when they join Blackshark with A10....it will then become an uber time vampire.

Did you place them as movable objects or just ground vehicles?

Any plans in the future to have flip up mirrors so we can choose to have them or not during a mission? They are still there if you choose not to have them...they just looked flipped up. Would be nice to have the choice during flight. Does the real A10 have that option?
