  1. Stilgar, Look at my reply to your other post. In your windows 10 install try the MS Store app trick which I mention there.
  2. Yes, CH Control Manager works properly for me in Windows 11. I'm even using CM Start as I did back in Windows 7 Days. My W10 rig had issues with Control Manager. It would not load a map unless I opened the Microsoft Store app and closed it. No idea why this was the "fix" for that.
  3. Got a quick reply from rel4y on the sensor! Thanks! Yes the sensor axis has to be reversed. Since I installed and use CH Control Manager (Windows 11 won't allow me to calibrate with joy.cpl with it installed apparently). I can do it there and not have to change my sims. The analog pot for the Y axis in the CH Fighterstick was wired opposite of the X axis pot.
  4. Greetings All, Got a set of sensors for my CH HOTAS from rel4y last year and finally got around to installation. All went fine with the Pro Throttle and Pro Pedals. One issue with the Fighterstick is the polarity of the Y axis which is reversed. I went so far as the swap the sensor with the Throttle but reversed again. I can go into my different control profiles in my different sims and reverse it so it's not a deal breaker. My question to those who have upgraded their CH and Cougar sticks with these sensors, is this normal that you would have to correct the polarity or direction of the axis? Thanks in advance!
  5. Thx for the replies. I did get the DCS Updater Utility GUI. It seemed pretty straight forward in the "advanced" section to "switch" versions. Clicked the "Switch to Beta" button. However nothing seemed to change. Looking at current version numbers, it seemed the Open Beta and Stable versions were the same? Does that happen? My install version number didn't change either. That being said I was able to join some multiplayer servers.
  6. Thx so much for the replies!
  7. Greetings All, Newbie to DCS. Old EAW, IL-2, CloD pilot. Warbirds are my thing but might get into some jets. Working toward Multiplayer. Going thru all the training stuff and learning the sim. What is the "Control Indicator" Screen used for? Thanks in advance!
  8. Thx for the quick reply. So there is a command prompt method to switch back and forth between the two versions?
  9. Greetings! New to DCS and want to do some Multiplayer WWII play. I'm sure my installation is the 2.8 "Stable" version. I see there is another version, 2.8 Open Beta. I see the download at the DCS site. Is it just a simple matter of downloading and installing the Beta? Will I have to import the modules I own? Can I have both versions installed on the same rig? Thanks in advance.
  10. In Windows 10 it was consistent that I had to use the "Launch Microsoft Store Fix" to get Control Manager to work. So far in W11 not the case but I'll post if things change.
  11. I'm building a new rig and did a clean install of W11. So far CH Control Manager is working properly as it did in W7.
  12. Greetings rel4y, I'm interested in purchasing hall sensors for my CH gear, Fighterstick, Pro Throttle and Pedals. Let me know availability and how to order/contact you. Thanks and look forward to hearing from you.
  13. Greeting All, I'm hoping rel4y will see this as I'm interested in upgrading my CH gear(Fighterstick, Pro Throttle, Pro Pedals) to the hall sensors. I have no problems with CH Control Manager in W10 so perhaps not looking to go 12 bit. I'm not sure if he wants PM's and I don't have his email info so I thought I'd start by posting here. Looking forward to hearing from you rel4y.
