  1. Maybe you should check this one:
  2. I would (and previously did), but it's currently not compatible with the new DFR for the Varjo Aero, which I clearly prefer. However, as I learned today a fix may be coming soon...
  3. Thanks, I understand. So I guess there is no 'easy' way to do it by hand for external colours, like adjusting values in a handful of files?
  4. @lefuneste01 Can you give me a brief hint how to change individual external colours (R/G/B) separately? I wasn't able to make sense of the color dialog other than saturation yet.
  5. The loader .exe resides in the ..\DCS-World\bin\3dmigoto\ folder. OvGME won't help you launching the loader, you'll need to do that yourself. Either create a desktop shortcut that you launch before DCS, or create a simple batch file to launch both in sequence. If you go the latter route, don't forget to include a small pause after running the launcher. Example from the top of my head: @echo off Start "" f:\DCS-World\bin\3dmigoto\ "3DMigoto Loader.exe" timeout 1 Start "" f:\DCS-World\bin\dcs.exe Exit
  6. Is it possible that you copied the contents of the original 3dmigoto folder to ...\bin-mt, instead of copying the folder itself? At least in my ...\bin-mt there is no d3d11.dll - it is in ...\bin-mt\3dmigoto. Try disabling OpenXR Toolkit for testing, the companion app allows you to do so without uninstalling it. I suspect FSR causing issues, though this is just a guess.
  7. What I did: 1. Take your ZIP and copy the contents of 3DmigotoDCS_VR_21.0_OpenXR\bin to ...\DCS-World\mt-bin. I did not copy the Bazaar folder, because it only contains glass.hlsl which I'm not going to use anyway 2. Go to ...\DCS-World\bin-mt\3dmigoto and launch 3DMigoto Loader.exe, the console window pops up 3. Launch DCS.exe from ...\DCS-World\bin-mt without any command line args - this will default to OpenXR, 3DMigoto Loader.exe in the console recognizes DCS.exe, the window closes automatically 4. In DCS, start freeflight mission, open 3Dmigoto menu using LSHIFT+F7 and apply settings, the changes are visible instantly 5. Save settings. So far, so good. This is with Varjo Aero, latest Varjo Base, latest OpenXR Toolkit and mbucchias OpenXR wrapper for Varjo. Let me know if you want me to provide more info / logs. Cheers, DK
  8. I have tried haze reduction and cockpit sharpening and can confirm both are working with DCS-MT and native OpenXR. For anyone wondering: just copy the 3Dmigoto folder into the bin-mt folder and proceed as usual. Thanks a million @lefuneste01 for making it work! Cheers, DK
  9. Have you been able to solve this and if so - mind sharing how? Cheers, DK
  10. I would very very much like to see them continued as well. Willing to donate to @Taz1004 and @speed-of-heat, drop me a PM if this would help changing your minds, and I'm sure other long-time users would follow! Cheers, DK
  11. See here - this will give you a better impression of performance differences:
  12. My Asus Strix OC came with a 12 pin to 4x8 pin adapter.
  13. Ok, just checked again and have to correct what I wrote above - it's already been two years and obviously I had forgotten I had already looked into this back then. I found some notes I put down on this in 2020. Nevertheless, please correct me if I'm wrong: the PCIe power terminals on my PSU are 12 pin each. The cables I am using are 2 Y-splitters, each with 1x12 pin on the PSU end and 2x8 pin on the GPU end. Each branch (!) of the 2 splitters runs 8 wires from the 12 pin to each of the 8 pin. So currently my GPU is supplied by 4x8 wires coming from 2x12 pin terminals. Based on the 150W rating rule, this would yield a total of 600W. What's more: the PSU manufacturer is selling a 12VHPWR adapter which has 2x12 pin connectors for the PSU terminals and 1x12 pin GPU connector, the cable is rated at 600W: https://www.bequiet.com/de/accessories/3959 The way I see it, this should be a safe configuration. Any objections? Cheers, DK
  14. LOL really? I seriously did not know that and I have been running my OC'd 3090 (~490W) with this config for almost two years now. Well, honest thanks for that and I'll look into it!
  15. 4090 Strix OC here, running off 4x8 pin connectors, supplied by 2x8 pin lines from my 2 year old BQT Dark Power Pro 1000. I have further OC'd the card to 3030MHz on GPU and 22000Gbps VRAM. In MSFS with VR, the GPU is drawing shy of the allowed 520W with GPU temps peaking at 60..65C.
  16. Maybe you should do some reading on Motion Reprojection and its practical use - this will probably allow you to contribute in a constructive way here.
  17. The stuttering issue currently only affects high-res headsets, which the G2 isn't (anymore). Seemingly no issues with other low/medium-res HMDs like VP2, Q2 etc. as well. Plenty of headroom left. Mind you, this was the SP instant flight 'mission'.
  18. Severe stutters especially when turning your head = HMD, experienced by all Aero users with the 4090. Some also experience it with the Pimax 8kx at large FOV setting. The issue is being investigated by Varjo and hopefully NV as well. Most games are currently unplayable. Though the Aero was resting on a table during my benchmark, there could still have been stutters having an impact on FPS.
  19. Got my 4090 Strix OC today and did a first performance comparison with my OC'd 3090. Due to the stutter issues with the 4090, results should be taken with a grain of salt. Hardware: Asus 4090 Strix OC (Stock) vs. Gigabyte 3090 Aorus Xtreme with additional OC, 12900K@5400/5700, Gskill DDR5@6400C32, Asus ROG Hero Z690; Varjo Aero Software: NV 516.40 / 522.25, Varjo Base 3.5.1, DCS latest OB with OpenXR via OpenComposite 0.6.3, analysis with CapFrameX. Bench flight: Replay of 2:30min pre-recorded Viper Instant Free Flight over Caucasus, of which were roughly 2min hugging treetops and buildings, then up through the clouds. The HMD was resting on the table and nudged every couple of seconds to prevent displays from going idle. DCS on MSAA2x with the most of the other settings pretty much maxed out.
  20. Don't forget the growing VR community, albeit slowly. 3090 was able to cope with 4k pretty nicely, but not with the demands of today's high-end HMDs. For example, I'm assuming most Varjo Aero and Pimax 8kx users will upgrade to the 4090. And even if that's just a couple of thousand users, you'll know the numbers...
  21. How about this one: the higher the frame rate, the faster the mission, the sooner you're with her again. And time with her is priceless. Does sound reasonable?
  22. Same here. No raindrops on canopy in VR, only in 2D.
