I'm just going off of what I see in the photos...This is one of the photos I'm using. As you can see it's very bright and fresh. All the special markings are. I have not yet done any Roughmet work, and I've not applied any custom weathering either. It's WIP. null

The decals look like they are Vinyl IRL. So I'm going to add Normals to them. and custom weathering. The special unit markings are actually taken from the real aircraft using high res photos a friend sent me. So that a part of the real aircraft will be a part of this one.

I see someone else did this one faster than I could....either way. I'm making progress. I'll put custom weathering to make this as close to the photos I can find.

Without permission, I think it's generally frowned upon if you're going to release it publicly. Privately, you pretty much can do whatever you want.

No post processing/re-shade. Just stock lighting.

Yeah I don't think most people are trying to be rude. I'm also not meaning to sound either. It would go a long way to keep things straight for us though. If people could try to keep it on topic. Because we're actually behind the scenes looking at everything, believe it or not. And it makes it 100x easier when we're not having to sift through pages of not applicable images or info when researching and doing liveries. And finding details. HB listens and there's a lot that you don't see or hear about but stuff we bring up directly that effects good changes and inputs into the product. So, while it might seem stupid at a glance it's actually helpful and is indirectly making things better. But yeah....I have no control over what people do...so I do just ignore it. But if you're interested in helping us find and discern details a little better, keeping it a central "E" repository is a nice to have.

Actually they will. That's the point of thread topics. And people who use forums know how they work. It's not terribly uncommon to keep things "on topic". No offense intended here, but anything not related to F-4E is off topic. It's actually a 100% reasonable request to ask people keep a thread topic, on topic. It's about the least controversial request that could possibly be made in a forum.

That's a good eye for detail dude! But in this case it is actually correct. What Lance said above is correct regarding the details that get included and the methods of getting them and possible restrictions to sharing some reference material.

Final Version. With custom Helmet and Patches. Custom Xtank(currently requires json file edit). Custom Roughmets and Normals throughout. Added missing T-ILS panel, Doppler radar under wing, Fixed the Pilot so he's no longer cross eyed! LOL. Should hopefully be in a future Viggen Update. Added Details from the Civilian version which is flying.

I wouldn't stay frustrated for too long if I were you. Also, I'm a paying Tomcat customer, like everyone else. Just to be transparent.

That's from my VF-31 Liveries from the 1991 Med Cruise. Those liveries were meticulously created to try to recreate every RL detail that was viewable including the weathering patterns and corrosion control patterns. I also added the early gun vents via removing the diffuse textures in those areas and creating the Roughmets and Normals to mask the areas. The mesh is 3D geometry so there's only so much that can be done to create the illusion, but IMHO, it's done about is good as you could make it without recreating the geometry mesh. Enjoy.

uuuh....I still need to add a few things. Right now it's using BORTS. But I'm going to make it specific Tail number. Add the pilot and CC names.

Astronomical job! Having painted the 17, I know how labor intensive it is. Very well done.

I haven't made them available yet. The FJs will have black interior.
