  1. I've created a revised set of HGV textures with revised base colors roughmets and surface materials.
  2. I was feeling under the weather for flying last few days, so I decided to spend some time remaking my Have Glass V effects. This involves changing the Roughmets and the base aircraft color and adjusting my normals effect. I feel like this is more representative of the iridescent look of the paint now. IRL the exterior of the skin is very rough. I've tried to simulate that as best I can without having to increase the resolution of the texture sheets.

  6. I've redone the pilot with new roughmets and some edits to the textures for color correction and material color. A little trickery to fake normals since it doesn't have any.

  8. I was able to recover my Roughmet project for the Sabre Cockpit to make it a little more authentic Korean war with a black cockpit and adding Roughmets. I will make this available. It is not a redo of texture. It is just a refresh of the existing texture diffuse and I created Roughmets. This was a project where I didn't want to spend a crazy amount of time so these are a "what can I do to make it look as good as possible without having to remake anything" project.   12. I've been refining the 8K sabre template I started a few years ago. Took a long hiatus. sharpened the rivets and Panel lines in the normal map. Edited the albedo color for something more realistic. Edited the roughmet for realism as well. This is an early war A model livery. I added the gun camera to the nose inlet as well. Removed the blacked out gun radar as well.
  13. We need models to be opened in Model Viewer. IMHO, It's not really a debateable thing. Work flow isn't going to be 3x longer it's going be like 10x longer. DCS takes like real time 7-10 mins to load these days. only to have to shut it down and reload every time you want to see an alignment change? This isn't FS 2004. It's DCS in 2024, and it's the tool that has been used for like almost a decade. These models aren't a joke. And neither is the artwork that so many talented people are putting into them. Respectfully request that whatever version of model viewer the MISSION EDITOR is obviously using; get put into the stand alone version.

  16. Final conversion of all my Have Glass liveries. Fixed some outstanding errors in my previous version. Best viewed in full screen.
