I beg to differ, When you train for two weeks for a single mission during one of our deployments and you get shot down, you're out until you get rescued the next mission. That's enough of an incentive to not get shot down and take your virtual life/aircraft seriously enough not to do some airquake nonsense. We limit airframes, ordinance, drop tanks etc to what the boat actually has and whatever unreps it would receive during any one time. There is no "spamraam" or any of that nonsense here, because there is a limited supply. Enjoy your air quake, I don't begrudge anyone what they like, so how about not begrudging what we like eh?

Online PVP never uses proper tactics, because nobody is afraid of death or losing aircraft when they get to respawn with little to no penalty. That's why we don't fly airquake :smilewink: Our server/missions if you get shot down, that's it. You're done till the next mission.

Most of the requests above are what I'd like, save for one I haven't seen yet. The ability to have Static Objects be client slots. This would completely fix the parking system in DCS (especially the carrier) while giving us a great tool to use for realism and mission possibilities. For example; I have 40 parked jets at an airfield, all static objects. A button in the ME will determine those static aircraft to be client slots. (optional as a toggle on/off) If those client slotted static aircraft are destroyed by airfield attack destroying the statics, the client slot disappears.

Carrier Air Wing Eleven is now recruiting for the training cycle beginning October 7th. We have spots to fill! Currently we need the following; 5 F-14B Pilots 5 RIO's 5 F/A-18C pilots Our requirements for members in USLANTCOM/CVW-11 are as follows. We have an extensive training program that requires a lot of self-study combined with many instructor flights. Your training will last exactly three months from the start of the training cycle. Provisions are in place for pilots of a high skill level to complete the training early, but proficiency requirements will not be waived. There are two classes per week, one main course, and one makeup course for those that cannot make the scheduled time of the first class. Attendance, our instructors and staff work very hard to get people trained. It does them a disservice to not show up to scheduled classes. We have no check rides or proficiency requirements for entry, we will teach you. The caveat to this is that it creates a lot of work for our instructors and staff. This is why the attendance requirements are strict. Typical flight times start at 20:00EST, most training events start at 21:00EST lasting one to two hours. This is to accommodate as many people as possible. throughout the US and Canada. Sign up today at Virtual Carrier Air Wing Eleven Once the slots for the 100719 training class is filled we will not be accepting applications for CVW-11 until that class is completed, thereby giving our fullest attention to our recruits to bring them up to CVW-11 standards! Please be aware we are not recruiting for the 169th Fighter Wing just yet, we are lining out our documentation and training routines for the USAF as it is quite different from USN training. A separate announcement will be made when we are ready for the mighty F-16's

[REPORTED]Hornet model needs optimization badly..
IceFire replied to IceFire's topic in Bugs and Problems
In multiplayer you can double those FPS losses. These shots were taken in single player. -
I have an air wing of five total squadrons, 3 of which are Hornets. I cannot get 12 aircraft in the same airspace without serious FPS losses from everyone. So I decided to do some testing. My specs are as follows; MB- Asus Rog Maximus X Code CPU- I7-8700K Card- 1080TI 11gb OC RAM- 32GB Resolution 1920x1080 Situation: I lose 30 FPS with just twenty-four F18's in the air. It is the same with everyone else that I've spoken to and is just as bad with twelve. ONLY when the Hornets are visually nearby does this occur. Outside of visual detection of model Within visual of the models Before someone tells me that there's simply too many Hornets in the air and nothing can be done.. Don't bother, please... For comparison, same number of Tomcats, same mission, same setup, all with 8K textures compared to the F18's 4K textures. I lose a whopping 5 FPS, maybe 10 at most... Please optimize this model.. We can't even have a populated deck on the carrier without killing FPS.
