It's showing you the position of the course you selected relative to your aircraft. It is pointed at 280 even though it doesn't look like it... If you were to bring up the map overlay on that, it would give you the precise 280 bearing line to that tacan station overlayed on the map. If you intercept that course, it will point at your selected course of 280 in this instance.

Did they change the TWR on the Hornet ? It sure seems snappier than previous builds.

I'm having some trouble getting this to work. I can get the strafe pits to work great. But it does not detect bombs. Tried the mission that came with it, as well as the latest version of MIST no joy any suggestions? EDIT: Never mind, answered my own question, bomb height was set higher than I was.

Water going nuts So I figured someone has posted this already.. But I haven't seen it so I'll go ahead. Feel free to delete if it's a known issue. Water seems to leap up around objects in the PG. I'm constantly seeing triangles/polygons around the edges of ships/objects traveling in the water. you only see it at the outlines of the ship/object but its very distracting. Hard to see in screenshots, I'll post a video shortly It only happens in the PG, I have never seen it in Caucuses.

Woops, deleted my own message lol. Anyways yeah NVG's aren't used in CV Ops because there's simply no way to read the meatball with NVG's on. Even at night, the Meatball is your primary landing instrument unless ACLS being used. Even with the ACLS I'm sure a pilot would be constantly crosschecking the ACLS needles with the meatball and would uncouple it if necessary, or told to do so by the LSO's.
