Ok so I made some (small)tests yesterday and this morning. So far, with the 2600k with HT off and stock clock and have between 2 and 5 more FPS. I quickly overclocked it to 4.8ghz and I have about 5-15 more FPS. So far I'm happy with it. It's @ 4.8ghz with 1.35v, 39idle-55full load (62-63 prime95). Unfortunatly I'm working 2d and tomorow, so I wont be able to give more feddback until Wedensday

Since my RAm is still not there, I decided to take the RAM of a friend's PC that I build.:music_whistling: I made a track, wich will serve a a benchmark. http://www.megaupload.com/?d=VAEJ1JZA With my actual config, on ground(looking straight in forward) I have between 8 and 11 FPS, looking only at the cockpit about 25-30fps and I got an average of 12FPS for the whole track. Everything is on MAX (including sliders) at 1920x1080 4xAA 16xAF. I'm going to reformat in a couple of minutes, install the new SandyBridge kit and report back 2d or tomorrow for new benchmarks. yeah thx. I have 64 STEAM games :music_whistling: +60-70gb FSX's folder + other flight sims + normal DVD games..... I would have for a couple of days to reinstall that. But maybe your right about the Win registry.... DCS is on my ''C'' drive wich is my SSD, so anyway I was gong to reinstall it :D

As I'm about to have a new MB, I think I'll reformat to avoid as much as possible conflicts with drivers. My question is: If my games are installed on my ''D'' and the OS on my ''C'', can I only format the ''C''? or the games(or everything that is installed on ''D'') wont work ? **cause I have over 500gb of games.....:music_whistling::cry:

because there is already one in DCS A-10 (that you can see in the Georgian Hammer campagn), and it lacks soooo much details compared to other planes. :music_whistling: (C-17 also could have a facelift....)

k thx. For me the badest FPS were on ground. Like in the Devil's Cross campagn, taxiing I have between 10 and 17fps. Or the ground training mission(wich starts on the runway) I have 17fps. What do you have (if you dont mind)

I've received my CPU and MB Tuesday, but the RAM was not shipped at the same time:mad::doh:. The RAM was shipped today, and I should received it tomorrow (I hope sooooooo much:music_whistling::joystick:). I dont know if I'll have time Saturday to assemble it.... If not, I'll only be able Wednesday, but be sure I'll post the results ASAP :thumbup:

I played this week-end the Hideout mission. After having completed it, with no more waepons and low fuel, I venture towards the 2 batteries of Sa-6. I was at 20k and made fun of the Sa-6, waiting for them to launch their missiles. As soon as I got a warning, I was diving behind the montains and the missiles were hitting it. If I remember correctly, there was 4 launchers per batteries so : 4x3x2=24 missiles. I dodged 23 of them........... :music_whistling::doh:

check for Xplane 4G (if you have an iphone4). It combines ALL xplane module in 1 apps for 20$. I have it and its pretty good for the prize ;)

Sincerly, 2-3 weeks ago I was 50/50 for buying it. Running everthing at max, on ground having between 11 and 23fps, and in the air between 20 and 40. It was beautifull and playable, but sometimes a pain in the arse :music_whistling::D But with 1.07, I was switching between planes with ''F2'' and got those MIGs21 in the mointains, and over 60fps:thumbup: It was so much fluid, so much life-like, that I told myself ''screw the GF, I'll buy it anyway'':P:megalol: If I'm lucky the package will ship from Ontario, wich should take less than a week to have it, if not, it'll ship from British Colombia and I'm pretty sure I'll have it only next week :cry:. Gonna do a benchmark with my q9550, one with the 2600k stock, and one with the 2600k over 4.5ghz (I hope :music_whistling::joystick::D)
