In the river mission there is at least 4 MANPADs, and they are quite difficult to find. Near bunker 5-6 I know there is 2 in the river's bed, wich you'll see with labels ON, but you wont see them until you're over them because they are lover than the sorrunding terrain. Personnally, I did it by the right of the river and in reverse(started with bunker 6-5-4-3-2-1). You are farther from the SA-11, and with your +wingmen MAVs, you can clear the SAMs at bunker 6-5, than you climb over 10000' and drops bomb on the Shilkas and bunker.

and if the card is brand new there is a chance that you wont be able to flash it, ATI decided that it was not a good idea that everybody buy a 6950 instead of their 6970 :music_whistling::megalol: My XFX6950 is flashed with the Saphire 6970(and overclocked 900/1400) and it works flawlessly.

I made a 90degree vertical climb and stalled the plane (made it on purpose), nearly lost the left engine but the right flamed out. The ITT was stuck at 700-800 for the right(left was moving as usual), no matter what I did or how long(landed, parked, motored the right engine for 10minutes and the ITT stayed the same) Did I broke something loll ???(I was not able to restart the right engine for the rest of the flight)

IMHO, I dont think a developper should stop doing something because ''it could/would kill FPS''. They should made it scalable (low/med/high) and +1 for bigger explosion, or at least more dirt in the air:joystick::D

yeah, always beeing under 4000' because of the overcast clouds makes us pretty vulnarable to SAM missiles....:joystick: + cant use LGB....:music_whistling:

I tried the shore with the new patch, but the helicopter's bug hoverring couple of meters above the shut down pilot is still there.... Devil's cross and georgian hammer are both cool. 1 thing I dont like about Georgian hammer is that you always start on the runway (I like to do a ramp start from a complete cold pit :)) Havent tried Devil's cross since new patch, but before you were 90% alone as your wingmen were stuck taxiing......:doh::mad:

I tested with HDR off and there is no more white square, but I love it better with HDR on :(

I thought in earlier version that the game was precaching files in a TEMP folder. I looked in the DCS a-10c/TEMP and Dcs A-10c/bin/TEMP and both are empty. Am I looking in the wrong folder??? Is DCS A-10 still precaching files ???? Thx

I just did a clean reinstall with 11.4 and still the white spots.... I wont roll back to an early version as for all my games it's the only problem. Maybe someone else who is more willing than me can test with earlier version :music_whistling::D

So I must still read to find how well the 2500k overclock compare to the 2600k:book: EDIT: 4.5ghz is very good, I'm just a bit zealous for my overclocking lollll EDIT2: read at some places that the 2500k overclock more than the 2600k.....

Dont know if the investigation is over, been off for a week:D But we are like a big familly so I'll tell you what happen :smilewink: Our Challenger(Cl-601) has a gravel kit. The nose wheel's skid only has about 1/4 of an inch on each side to pass the door(pretty tight lolll :music_whistling:). When the gear is in the UP position, it's stowed about 20-30 degree up from the horizon. What happened, and we dont know why(and that's the same thing that happened to our old C-FURG) is that the nose gear's chock lose all it's Nitrogen. So once the chock is empty, there is nothing that can maintain it extended and locked in its 20-30degree up. So when the pilot pull the lever in the down position, the gear was not where it was suposed to be, and the gravel kit's skid got stock sideways on the doors. So how does the gear got down ? I didnt knew that, but the nose wheel mechanism push it down with 3000lbs of pression :weight_lift_2: The skid was bent, but I dont know if the gear dropped because of that. What we think is that, at the end on the runway, the wind was pushing the nose gear up, but as soon as the nose dropped it became so weak that the gear went down. The plane is still mechanical

depend of the CAT ofthe ILS ;) As long as you have a normal ILS(cat2, wich bring you 200' of the ground) then if you fly it by the needles there is 90% chance that you see the runway(usually the ATC will put the runway's lights at max intensity...)
