  1. Omg don't do this to us Cobra! XD
  2. Yea that makes sense. :-)
  3. DCS: AJS-37 Viggen Discussion Probably not, but that was the word at the time. ;-) I have an old aircraft maintenance teacher that worked on the JA-37 that always said it was in some ways better than the Gripen since the initial versions of the Gripen had a fairly low payload weight because the wing beams weren't strong enough to carry heavy weaponry, but of course it is also smaller than the Viggen. :-)
  4. I can't say for sure about the AJ and AJS but I know the last iterations of JA 37 (fighter variant) was said to be more technically advanced than the currently active JAS 39 GRIPENS (although that was the Gripen A at the time.) :-)
  5. I want one, not sure what for, but i want one! XD
  6. DCS: AJS-37 Viggen Discussion Rbs 15 Mk III didn't start production until 2004 so there's really no reason to include it AFAIK. Also, Wikipedia says this about the mk III: "There is only a ship launched version."
  7. I feel like the hud will be the biggest obstacle for me to get used to after only flying American jets for so long. :P
  8. The solution would be to bring a wingman with Rb75 and carry BK90 yourself. ;-)
  9. I agree, the decision to include the AGM-65B makes sense, but other then that realistic load out options is preferred to me. :-) Having to deal with the limitations of the real aircraft is part of the fun. :-)
  10. Spoken like a true viking draken driver! :megalol:
  11. As i said we might not be talking about the same incident, to many different low passes being discussed at once! :joystick:
  12. Not really, the main problem was that his friends got serious burns on large parts of their bodies because he had the afterburner on full blow when he passed them... This is a comment about the event from the trial: Source Edit: I realized we might not be talking about the same incident?
  13. Well, they were allowed to fly down to "estimated" 10 meters, and somewhere between 5-15 meters would probably qualify as an "estimated 10". :P
  14. DCS: AJS-37 Viggen Discussion I like this part:
  15. Yup :P http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=159823
  16. So would I! :joystick:
  17. He only said that it will not be released with a new map, they are working on one, it just won't be done for release at the same time as the aircraft. :-)
  18. It's been confirmed, just not "officially announced". But appears to be far along in development and is to be released prior to DCS F-14. The rumor was confirmed back around new years. :-)
  19. Alright! Thanks! I will add and correct all of this once my kid decides she wants to fall asleep. :D
  20. Better aswer below! :D
  21. Updated with the provided images and added some more info about the aircraft itself. :-)
  22. My guess would be less since it's not really an air to air radar at all. :) I'm no dev though. :P
  23. Probably, they have said that the map will be released later, and not alongside the aircraft itself. :)
  24. They would have to be to withstand the force of carrier style landings in the forrests of lappland :D
  25. Confirmed information about DCS AJS37 I'm fairly sure it was planned to be released at the end of last year, but then Cobra got sick causing delays with texturing etc, and then they probably decided to redo some of the cockpit modeling to increase the accuracy since it had already been delayed anyways. (Cobra has stated he just finished his last research trip to get better photos of the interior, including the canopy mechanism.) This is my theory. :P
