Using Generic Mod Enabler to load CH Assets into DCS (Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World\_MODS). Once in game, though, the Assets are nowhere to be found. Other mods, e.g. Empty_VR_Hangar, that use Mod Enabler work like a charm. I assume I'm doing something wrong. Any help would be appreciated.

My search skills must be rusty. I can find skins, I cannot find the actual mod to download. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

First of all, thank you all for your suggestions. 90hz seemed like a good idea, so why was lowering the Pimax setting to 72 hz so miraculous? I also changed render quality to High in Pimax settings. I can now read my MFDS, my HUD, my TGP, so hallelujah. I'm still tweaking but I am now understanding why people are loving their Pimax Crystal Light. Under current settings, I'm averaging around 60-70 fps. Blackhawk163 mentioned increasing the pixel density to 80 -- I don't see that option in either Pimax, or DCS settings. Can someone clarify? Again, many thanks. Maolain

Running a GForce 4090 and Ryzen 9 16-core. Admittedly, I'm not the most PC savvy person on the planet. There are at least two people who know less than I do. I've had the Pimax for a week, watched countless videos, read chats, etc. Refresh Rate on Pimax: 90Hz Upscale Render Quality: Customize 0.75 Pimax OpenXR Quadviews CHECKED Preference: Balanced General: OpenXRRuntime: Pimax OpenXR I've installed QuadViews and set it as per instructions from the Pimax website for my GPU. I also installed the thing QuadViews tells you to install to make it work. Whether or not it's working, I don't know. I've checked Quad View in the DCS VR menu page. Nothing I do seems to improve the resolution of the HUD or the TGP. Depending on how I've configured the settings, I was getting 90+ fps. I should also note that the general atmosphere while aloft is super hazy -- not something I've ever noticed in non-VR use. Anyone out there who has dialed in their Pimax so that the HUD and TGP look nearly as good in VR as they do in regular 2D game? Are there in-game settings that effect clarity? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. (I disabled my existing Open XR toolkit, thinking that it was creating a conflict, but alas, it made no difference.)

Pimax Crystal Light renders DCS menu screen the size of a postage stamp

Dude, you're a genius. Fixed. As I said, I suspected it was something basic. FWIW, this was not a key control I needed with my Oculus 2 Thanks for contributing. -
Just received my PCL headset (sans controllers. Mistake?). Set up the headset as per instructions, set up Nvidia control panel, and DCS settings. When I launch the game, I'm in the familiar 3D hangar with the Mig (or is it an Su?) but the menu screen is in the distance, so small as to be unreadable. From memory, I click on Instant Mission, then randomly pick a plane and mission without any idea what I just picked. Now things get really weird. The mission starts, normal size, but my view is from the exterior of the plane. Hitting F1 does nothing to get me into the cockpit with the pilot view. All the other F buttons work as normal. Reboot. Back in the hangar, but the orientation is different. Now the menu is properly sized but it is directly behind me. I click on an instant mission, the mission loads, and once again, my view is outside the plane, and F1 does nothing. Somehow I think i've missed something very basic, but if you have any insights into how to get this problem fixed, I'd sure appreciate your help. thanks

Getting this warning when booting the game. Spent time learning how to exclude files/folders from my ESET antivirus. As I suck when it comes to pc stuff, I can’t be sure I’m doing this correctly. See attached. If I am in fact doing it properly, are there things I’m missing? (BTW, I purchased the F15 several months ago. ) thanks for any help

Was away from DCS for several weeks, decided to see if my Oculus 2 headset would work now in latest version (did they fix the Oculus VR bug?). I opened DCS, re-configured my graphic settings to be more VR friendly, then clicked the VR button, rebooted DCS and...disaster. DCS tries to load - I get as far as the new Nvidia DCS World splash screen...then nothing. It disappears. I know I can't be alone with this experience. Anyway, can anyone suggest how I can 'unclick' the VR button WITHOUT actually opening DCS since that is now impossible. Or are there other solutions I'm not thinking of? As you might infer from my description, I'm not especially tech savvy but I would love to get back into the sky. thanks in advance [CAN'T THANK YOU ENOUGH. Editing the lua in Saved Games did the trick. I'm back. Props to a great community.]

Finally got my Buttkicker working, sort of. I have Main Audio Out set as (Speakers) Buttkicker Plus, and use Bose wireless headphones, as listed under the headphones heading. My chair shakes but I get NO audio in my headphones EXCEPT for radio communications from ATC, etc. Weird, no? Anybody have similar experience? Anybody think of a solution? appreciate any help. Not very adept at PC stuff since I worked on Macs my whole career, but I love DCS and I thought iUFC was a pretty cool looking mod. I didn't have a Scripts folder when I opened up Saved Games/DCS Beta, so I created one. Just create new folder, then name it Scripts, correct? I then downloaded the export.lua using Notepad. This is how lame my knowledge is: so I attempt to copy what's in Notepad and paste it in my Scripts folder...but paste isn't an option. I don't know how to get the lua into my Scripts folder. I assume i'm missing something fundamentally simple -- if anyone could edify, I'd really appreciate it.

Is there a bug or am I doing something wrong in the Hornet? I designate Air to Ground and select a laser or GPS guided weapon. I turn on the FLIR (either pod) and make it SOI. I dial in the waypoint where I know bad guys are. I click weapons designate and immediately the pod slews into the sky instead of at the waypoint. Thoughts as to what I'm doing wrong?
