Just to see if I understood, if I buy the A-10C II, it work without need of the original A-10C? Thanks

The first four F-15s for the IAF under the " Peace Fox 1" program were airframe of the development test program brought up to F-15A standard ( identifiables by the smaller speedbrake) and arrived in Israel in the December 1976, followed in 15 December 1977 by the first of eventually 19 As and 2 Bs production planes. The second batch was accepted by IAF in 1981 and 1982 and comprised 9 F-15Cs and 6 F-15Ds. These will be the initial birds to form the second Baz ( the Israeli name of the Eagle) squadron but the start of Operation Peace for the Galilee postponed the opening of the new unit. During 1984 and 1985 another 9 Cs and 2 Ds joined the inventory;some attrition replacemet, all F-15Ds arrived in 1991 followed by nine F-15As and five Bs in 1992 as a "prize" to not intervene during the Desert Storm'Iraqi Scud attacks. Of these planes the single seaters were put in storage. the two seaters were brought to the already in service ones standard. The latters were used as precision strike aircraft, not only as air superiority plane and later recon birds ( few Ds modified ),with the crews specialised in the use of the GBU-15 So mate, in 1982 Israel already had the C model

In reality IAF used his first batch of F-15C/Ds along his As during the clash over the Bekaa in 1982 and scored many kills, if you need to know the number I'll check my ref books... Personally I'm quite happy of the ED's decision, this way close the circle of FF "Teen-series" of which I passed my childhood reading of in my dad books ( and when all my passion started) !

Hello guys,I've downloaded this free Campaign but I'm unable to past misson 1 (start in flight and you will do is a Case III landing); I trap aboard, receive the Mission Accomplished message with the fanfare, shut down the plane and when close the mission receive the Campaign Defeat message. Someone already knew this Campaign and relative problem and solved this issue? Also, a pair of mission (don't rememb which) said that is impossible to be open because the Civil Object Module is needed; where I can find this module? Any help is appreciated!

ATFLIR over Litening
Kurnass1977 replied to rosty's topic in DCS: F/A-18C Operation Mountain Breeze Campaign
I always use the ATFLIR when play a Navy Hornet, this Campaign was no except and I enjoyed all the mission without problem. If you like the ATFLIR go for it and equip the pod on deck as suggested by SS -
Ok, so I'll search for a YKW slatted bird used by Spector ( or others?) in engament resulting in Kills For sure Kurnass 184 wasn't a slatted bird, 122 was one (assuming that you are interested in 107 Sq. planes, the Sq. commanded by Spector during yhe YKW) Will inform you of my research via PM as soon I've sorted out something useful
-
For a strange twist of event this 's the same plane I build for my IAF collection...http://www.arcforums.com/forums/air/index.php?/topic/271129-kurnass-184-yom-kippur-war1973/&tab=comments#comment-2569871 Spector used different airframe to claim his kills, if interested can research in my refs
-
Yeah, will be great. But which Spector plane?

To be correct there were 5 Squadron, the 105th Sq. transitioned from the Sa'ar to the Kurnass after the YKW ( in March 1975) thanks to the emergency aid delivered planes in the aforomentioned conflict. In reality the bulk of these birds in USAF SEA camouflage ( Karpada in Hebrew for Toad, in light of the darker tones) equipped the 69th Sq. 105 Sq markings will be very attractive ,with the arrow running on the fudelage lenght, especially the white outlined-red one. Also the Squadron had the distincion to claim the last Kurnass kill during Peace for Galilee in 1982 , generating consequently the last Kurnass ace Ben Ami-Peri https://forum.dcs.world/topic/291842-official-f-4e-livery-discussion/page/11/

Yup, and the Marines out of Key West

True! Personally I'll courious to try to dogfight using energy preservation, go vertical,etc...to experience what the Naval Aviators feel fighting with the Bravo against "inferior" enemy, but foe DCS the Juliet make more sense, as you stated!
-
True for an early B, but this is true for ANY planes using these early missiles. During Linebacker, the Bravo pratically equally the Juliet in AA enviroment thanks to Top Gun first and more reliable missiles in form of the improved Aim-9G. But already in Rolling Thunder the Aim-9D improved the killing probability for the F-4B crews ( and the Israeli ones). Obviously the AWG-10 of the F-4J performed, in ideal conditions and especially when matured, way better of the F-4B APQ-72. During the first Viet Cruise the reliabity of the radar was so-so and the maintainers worked really hard to be able to offer operable rdars to the pilots ( the first example delivered to the RAG were equipped with ballast in the nose in place of the AWG-10 as the radar problems were worked out),Also the new engine offered extra thrust in a dogfight; in few words the Juliet was a general better machine in these an other aspect, so maybe better suited for DCS and with the MiG-21 and -19 as direct opponents I will buy indefferentely the B or the J
