  1. Don't mean to Necro this thread but it's the discussion I was looking for. So by using a .2 correction for every thousand feet of altitude I came up with....250ias at 28k altitude equals about 390tas ? Am to doing that correctly?
  2. Hello! I'm looking for a Harrier squadron. I'm new to the Harrier, it and the MB-339 are the only jets I fly routinely, I've been flying it for about two weeks practicing cold starts, ground and shipborne flight pattern work. I'm green, ready to learn and if you have a spot I'd like to see if vCENTCOM is a good fit. Thanks! Jobediah "Boomer"
  3. Been flying the Harrier for about 2 weeks, looking for a squad for training and combined ops. Nothing to serious but willing to listen, learn and be part of a unit. Thanks and look forward to hearing from you. Joe
  4. P-38 or ME 210 since we have Mossy. Would rather see ED flesh out this theater than jumping around as their development is so slow. For the Pacific side the Hellcat and Zero are a must.
  5. Specifically a joystick or any button controller? I have all my warbird canopies bound to a toggle on my HOTAS and it works fine.
  6. Oddly, I had this same issue yesterday. I bumped the starter switch instead of holding it down and from that point on it refused to turn over the engine through multiple start attempts.
  7. Thank you kind sir! This makes a world of difference flying the Spit.
  8. I have to say that this is the first DCS module I have purchased and the engine is extremely frustrating. There is little to no room for error. The fragility if this engine goes against anything I have ever learned. Caveat that I am no historian or professional engine builder. I love the module but the P-51 is so much more resilient and capable of finishing missions.
