reported Huey's new performance profile discussion
Mike145 replied to Tim_Fragmagnet's topic in Bugs and Problems
I`d just like to say these are my findings as well. Where I was achieving a hover by 30psi, now 40+ and when you get to transition, you go UP fast.- 96 replies

Big thank you to the ED team, I was a bit worried that my modest rig would not fair well with the update, usually didn't. What a nice surprise when I got it to work (open from steam web page) 10+ FPS and seems a little smoother. Only play single player and pancake. good times

I haven't tried with AI, I use the C130 MOD and can land , taxi and take off with it.

Hi Seaside, Is this what your looking for? This is how it looks in ME What you see. It is a MOD called FARP_Runway, for the life of me I cannot find it. I`ve tried searching the Forum but came up empty. It maybe part of a larger MOD and I just use this part. You have to place a FARP in place first, then place the runway over it to stop the runway sinking. The MOD is only 2.6MB so if you cannot find the original, I could attach it in a PM if you wish. I use it in a Khe Sanh mission, Either drop supplies or land the C130 MOD on it, full reverse and you can stop before the centre. Regards, Mike.

Thank you, the extension makes it feel much more natural to fly the helicopter this way.

Saitek X52 hotas, TM rudder pedals and Delan clip Head tracker. Made an extension for the throttle to be more like a collective. Plumbers pipe, hard foam and switches I had at home, other stuff I got from e-bay. Made the bracket that attaches it to the throttle out of an aluminium coat hanger and big hammer. Really adds to the immersion factor.

Many thanks for this Mod. As a Huey driver in DCS, I was waiting for something like this to add that bit of realism to my missions. Thanks again. Mike.
