So I went ahead & upgraded to Windows 11 & all my problems went away. I had to upgrade for Win10 end of life in October, so now it's done.

So I updated my pc BIOS & finally migrated to Win 11. That's seems to have solved my freezing issues. Thanks to all who replied.

I am having stutters & freezing but not on the main screen. Its in game & unflyable.

Seems those folks are freezing on the main screen. My main screen is fine. It's in game that's causing problems.

Freezing here to after the update last night. I can post a log fie when I get home later. But my issue seems to be core parking.

I tried most of those suggestions before posted. Later I did try the Park control & it seemed to work, but I was testing it without trackir running. I saw on another thread that a user had issues with trackir. I will investigate further tonight. And I should just update to win 11 & get it over with.

Intel Core i5 12600K 3.7 GHz, 64 gb ram. It is not an FPS issue. It seems to be core parking. Interesting. But I can get past the sign in fine. It's in game that giving me Hell.

Hello All. So up till yesterday my system ran fine. After the update today I can't even play with all the freezing. When I look at the log I see it starts of with a WARNING EDCORE CPU ha sparked cores. I ran several tests and I get that warning in al the logs. SO what would cause my system to all of a sudden start park cores and cause latency? And more important how can I remedy this. The only change from yesterday & before to today is the DCS update. Any help is greatly appreciated as I cannot fly in it's current state. I am attaching a log file as I do not really understand most of the info it contains. Thanks in advance. 04_17_2025.txt

So I recently got a new collective after selling off my PFT Puma a few years ago when started DCS, the PUMA did not fit in with my rig anymore. So of course I am now an a helicopter kick in a big way. I get a hold of the OH-6A & the Blackhawk. And just like that these 2 are my faves. Thank you for doing a mind blowing job on this bird. It is a challenge to fly but damn it's fun & looks amazing! A big thank you!!

So I have been trying to get the embark troops to work in ME. I only tried Afghanistan so others may work. So thanks for that info. What do you mean by "Afghanistan, they will not embark at all if there are any waypoints for the push task."? What does waypoints for the push task? My issue is I cannot get the menu to show airborne troops. I have tried it with waypoint advanced actions & triggered actions. I will have to try another map to see if I get a better result.

Any word if this is fixed?

I noticed a few stutters but its terrible.

When I try to cold & dark at Kandahar I get no response from the ground crew. I can contact the tower but not rearm-refuel or place chocks. I have tried multiple aircraft with the same result. I can contact the ground crew at a few other bases I have tried. But I am not sure about all of them. On a side note I did have to turn off simplified radios in DCS settings. But that did not help the ground crew comms issue. I included the track but it does not show the rearm/ refuel screen not the mission brief where I got the freq. Interesting. So if I buy the upgrade they are all separate planes.

Did you reinstall them individually or as FC3?

Same issue as everyone else. No FC3 planes.

Thank you! I will try this when I get home from work. After I uninstall them in the launcher where I install them? The launcher or in game?

Has a fix been announced for stand alone? I am not even considering buying FC24 till I have what I already paid for.

When I try to active nothing happens Also the TGP is bank, SMS & WPN pages say "off". Am I this only one having this issue? This is on the Sinai map. With 4x CBU 105 , 2x GPU 812, TGP & fuel pod on the center pylon. ***Update-- So I a flight today on another mission & it seems to be working as it should. So maybe the 2 missions that I had this issue may have not liked the update. Also my FC3 planes are back & working.

So when I run the launcher, put in my password and click run DCS. It brings to the old way & asks for my password again. Is it supposed to do that?

I guess I will to the list. I own FC3 but have not bought the upgrade yet.
