What we've found is that tanker speeds suffer from the ground speed thing in that the indicated airspeed is dropping per a sliding lapse rate as a function of altitude. This makes it a LOT of extra work to try to create tanker tracks that make it possible to fly the tanker at, for example, 250 kts. Right now the system doesn't make sense vs. an E6B or what actually happens in an airplane

Please make aircraft speeds make sense. Speeds should have a selection that doesn't cause issues. Should be able to select between indicated airspeed, true airspeed, calibrated airspeed, ground speed, etc. Why? For example, I should be able to set up a tanker track that disregards ground speed so that aircraft trying to tank aren't constantly chasing speeds. My uncle flew KC-135s and they didn't fly ground speeds in kph.

If the tower gang came over the radio as you're rolling out asking "umm u ok bro?' that would be great

Got the moving portion of the rudder entirely blown off the vertical stab by AAA and had full yaw authority. Landed without issue. null

Keep in mind that Casmo may be using Active Pause for the purposes of content creation.

I'd like to be able to use the wheel in F2, since it's available, to send commands to the CC and see them happen but I can't click on anything. No mapped buttons work, and the dot doesn't follow my head.

This guy is pretty down on SWfM... and I can see his point. Meanwhile aside from the 10 project limit I have had no issues with Fusion 360 Personal Use in my learning to design and print journey (everyone's on a journey aren't they?).

Polychop, Please put some Oakleys, Gatorz, Wiley X's or Pit Vipers or something on your pilot models. The "seen some thangs" 1,000 yard stare is freaking people out. Oh yeah and get homie some melatonin so he can sleep through the nightmares, intrusive thoughts and tinnitus. rah

Have you calibrated your axes lately? Pull out the detent (remove the bracket and lift out) and inspect. Unless the detent is noticeably worn I would not suspect wear as the issue.

OK just tell me what settings in that window will work for a Quest 2 running on an RTX 4090. Stop talking around the problem and tell me waht I need to know so I don't spend hours I don't have chasing my tail stopping and starting the game a dozen times and riping what's left of my hair out. At least get me close. Oh you're one of those self-appointed moderators, huh? Wow, very rare. You must be the CW5 of this place.

Concur. One tap of nose down trim threw the stick into the instrument panel. Also, not enough aft stick trim when dirtied up for landing. Trying to maintain AOA is a bitch.

F-4 crew refuse to leave their aircraft after shutdown

Ok this goes in the Early Alpha bin. -
For me in VR the FPS never drops below 36 (I believe that's still per eye in DCS land), but the frame counter stops dead often then resumes. I'm running a 13900KF/RTX 4090/64 GB RAM to a Quest 2.

Hard to see console controls (brightness/contrast)
trev5150 replied to Deyth's topic in Bugs & Problems
Def not just you. There's another thread on the subject. -
Threshold/overrun/underrun are not runup areas. It's legal and common practice to use the approach end threshold for takeoff run. That's an extra 500-1000 feet of takeoff roll in some places. The purpose of displaced threshold is obstacle avoidance on precision approaches to minimums and remaining on glideslope to touchdown in the landing zone (between the Captain's Bars).

Jester, and cockpit sounds are mute on airstarts
trev5150 replied to GaryIKILLYOU's topic in Bugs & Problems
Concur. Jester should be verbalizing through all his checklist steps so the pilot has SA. -
I have seen this as well. Cockpit elements are very dark but can suddenly be washed out and blindingly bright.

Yes it’s pretty bad right now. In my Quest 2 the contextual interface might as well not exist.

[2.9.5.55300] SUU-23 Gunpods not boresighted along FRL
trev5150 replied to DSplayer's topic in Bugs & Problems
Boresight does not coincide with the reticle, which changes position with mode and mil settings. It’s only a mechanical alignment to the Fuselage Reference Line. It does not compensate for bullet drop or flight path. Fix the PEBKAC issue.
