  1. Being able to control a SAM site to STT something, or see if it's hard locking something would be nice, currently to replicate a "Hey I see you and I can shoot you" you have to actually target and shoot that unit then basically tell the radar to turn off which uses a missile and sends a Shot Warning which can be problematic. Additionally seeing if a unit is being locked to basically make it act a certain way, say unit A is teasing a No fly zone, if it's locked by Unit B it will act in a certain way. These might be separate requests but figured I'd merge them since they are very similar in a sense.
  2. Title, having an event you can use to see if a flare was dropped to see if it was within a radius of a convoy to get them to turn away (Show of force), have a SAM operator count chaff before shooting another missile etc. etc. opens a lot of scenarios and use cases if this was added. This is something people would like, reference this post.
  3. Allowing us to change special settings or at the very least the new Roll/Pitch dead-zone and gradient options would make fine tuning the settings much easier instead of having to edit, start a mission, leave, and repeat. I don't see a reason why these aren't able to be changed in a mission other then a sub-par implementation in the back-end, changing the afterburner detent and the control settings should be similar to changing a keybind in the controls menu.

  4. Not very clear at all, I'd say ED took the safe approach here with using the FCR range scale, I don't know why they didn't keep the ability to change the range scale while in EXP/DBS modes since before it worked similarly to the F15E's MAP mode in it's A/G radar, we can obtain similar results by moving the cursor to the area using TMS up to save the area and then changing the RNG scale, and going back into DBS,it works fundamentally the same as in the videos by wags just that you need to re-enter the DBS mode after changing the range scale. Can't really tell if that's intended behavior or not.
  5. Currently the TNDL STN and TNDL members (outside of the flight itself, if multiple flights exist inside of a static template) aren't saved within the template, this sucks because it makes it harder for mission creators to easily create a standardized set of STNs for flights between missions outside of manually setting the STNs between every AC which can be time consuming and tedious. Sure you can use the ones generated by the ME and they do 'work' but the only way to know another flights STN is to have them already in your jet as members or have the other flight read them out to you which can clog up the radio. So it's either use the generated ones or have the mission creator spend time before the mission to go through every flight and set the STN which can take a while for larger squadrons with 30+ players per mission. I think this would be an overall QoL update for squadron mission creators that don't give access to the full .miz to Flight Leads that create templates to send over to the MC for importing into the real .miz.
  6. Could it have been caused by the stuttering that was fixed in today's hotfix? Are you still getting it, if that doesn't fix it, it's like ping/desync as I've had this exact behavior with desync and lag as Newy said.
