  1. It will be DLSS 2.0, see https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/news/newsletters/a6204cbc7d5df25e887acb434b2f8e1b/ (Under "DCS Core", you need to scroll down a bit)
  2. Hi all, some findings: 1. my wingman was not able to take-off due to exzessive weight and 2. when the convoy reaches the bridge, the bridget is blown-up and the convoy (among others the 2nd vehicle got destroyed) does not proceed. I even landed but nothing happened. (see attached screenshots) Please don't get me wrong, I am having lots of fun with this campaign - great balancing of plausible fictive events!
  3. And R-828 channel need to be set to channel 7 (50MHz as you have set it up in mission editor). In your example the channel had been set to 0.
  4. Does anyone know? Is this a module specific behaviour or do all DCS models have the same? Thanks!
  5. Also for me in missions 9 (11166 of max 11500kg) and 10 (11588 of max 11500kg), the Mi-24 was way too heavy loaded. I could barely lift off and could definitely not properly manuever and land+take-off again in this high-level mountainous area. Though I did not have the issue with my wingman not being able to take off.
  6. I have found the issue (via mission editor): The ARK-UD channel for FARP Podkova ist #1 (and not #2 as stated in the documentation - see screenshot above). For ARK-UD channel #1 I got a clear signal - see screenshot #2. For FARP Otritka I haven been able to find a ARK-UD signal in mission editor - as for most of the missions ARK-UD signals for FARP Podkova and Otritka are missing.
  7. Hi all, I can't home in on the FARP Podkova's on ARK-UD channel 2 (see attached screenshots). What am I doing wrong - or is this a bug in DCS and/or the campaign? Switching channels on ARK-UD as well as switching ARK-UD from VHF to UHF (and vice versa) does not change the HSI needle (?) I have used mission 3 (called "ordinary job"). Many thanks!
  8. For whatever reason on my second try the triggers worked (?) I can only confirm that the last instructions/directions after taking off from the hospital back to FARP Otkrytka (bearing 136, radionbeacon 960) are wrong: Instead of going south-east (where you will definitely cross the border to the south!) the way back to Orkrytka is north-west and correct radionbeacon is 940. Really difficult often is the power / weight management: taking off can be really challenging... pulling too much collective makes the rudder ineffective resulting in an uncontrollable spin (at least for me ) All in all, for me the campaign is very interesting with very entertaining missions, but not overly complex and misisons are not too long. Thanks Armen!
  9. After reaching the radar station nothing happens. I see enemy infantry at the tree line of the clearing that I am able to attack e.g. with gun and rockets. Also when landing no triggers work. I have also tried to contact FARP Gora (channel 4 at R-863) via the communication menue, but there is no such entry. What am I doing wrong? Thanks!
  10. Hi all, sometimes the Hind enters an uncontrollable spin to the left which I am not able to counter with right pedal. Right pedal input (although fully deflected to the right) is somehow limited (see attached picture). I have set instant trim and pedal micro switch logic to off. Does autopilot yaw channel interfere with my pedal inputs? What is the meaning of the marker/chevron that appears at pedal input bottom rightmost? Many thanks!
  11. Many thanks! It was my fault: I tried to use Communication menu -> ATC -> Nalchik -> Request startup to ask for startup clearance (which did not work), instead of Communication menu -> Other -> Startup Since, all subsequent triggers (including start of Mi-26 transport helicopter) had been working working fine for me
  12. Hi all, in mission 1, the Mi-26 transport helicopter ("27") is taxiing in front of me and "holding short of runway 06" as told by ATC Nalchik, but then nothing further happens...maybe this is because there is a soldier standing in the middle of the runway? Many thanks
  13. Strange is, that altough I had achieved a score of 100, the following missions # 7 (Rescue the Handy Wind), # 8 (Fast Boats in the night) and # 9 (FAC over Pshada) have not been completed properly (are still listed in campaign list as Active without any score)
  14. It seems that the Mission 8 briefing is missing some pages
  15. Thanks! In my second attempt in mission #2 I got those messages and the events unfolded - Good story telling! Editing and formatting those posts drives me crazy...obviously there is no possibility to keep screenshots in the "Spoiler" section (?)
  16. Please don't get me wrong, I am really enjoying this campaign that I personally also do recommend, good job Though here I have some questions and/or hints for improvement (please note that there are some spoilers included!) - that in my opinion are minor issues only, absolutely not ruining the fun / immersion:
  17. I have the impression that some important tasks (required to trigger the next event) are deleted from the message history (e.g. in misasion 5)
  18. ok, thanks. I was just curious and able to find the source of the TACAN signal (New Vehicle Group #051) in the mission editor. What i haven't been able to track so far (up to mission 5) is the FARP´s NDB signal (AM 650 kHz). There seems to be strong signals at about 625 and 675 MHz, but nothing in between. Also I couldn't track the FM homing of the hidden FARP`s 38.5 MHz signal. That`s why I still need to use the F10 map a lot. Overall I really enjoy the campaign story with it`s great variety of missions .
  19. I am re-learning the Huey and are wondering what some waypoint attributes (like GN (90) 314/13 or London (35x) 239/2 from mission 1) mean. Is this some radio navigation information? Or kind of MGRS coordinates?
  20. Hi all, is there no PDF that provides some basic information about the campaign? (I only have the 15 mission briefing documents / PDFs)
  21. Hi all, does anyone know what this box at the TSD means (please see attached screenshot)? How do I deactivate that? (I know that an additional dashed box means TSD is in PAN mode and/or frozen)
  22. In Wags' DCS: AH-64D Roadmap, he mentioned, that Improved Flight Model and Stability and Control Augmentation System (SCAS) Improvements has already been delivered. Does that mean that we will not see any flight model improvements for the Apache any more?
  23. Ah ok, I see - the campaign mission briefing still shows target location north-east of Fécamp near the coast (see attached screenshot) Thanks for your quick reply! (I am using the campaign = Normandy map version)
  24. Maybe this has to do with the new version 2.0 of the Normandy map? Target must be near the coast, north-east of Fécamp. Somewhere near Saint-Martin-aux-Buneaux? Many thanks for any hints!
