  1. Ok just tried it out again. Can't do a sustained knife edge at 90 degrees. Best possible is 45 degree bank otherwise I fall out of the sky. Can provide a track later
  2. It provides you with the ability to calculate ahead of time, how close you will be to the bandit once he has to start defending, and in relation to the MAR can provide useful info for planning the engagement a few steps ahead of the bandit

I spend nearly 90% of my time in the sim in training missions and in that specific scenario the F16 is very much unfinished, or dare I say practically not operational with incorrect Master SIM functionality and missing inert weapons. Nearly all of the training/SIM features are missing from our F16 currently. I'll try to collect all the info necessary for ED to make changes in this thread (please add any documentation you have in the thread) CATM-9M Current implementation: Even though the missile appears in SMS INV as TA9LM when entering A-A mode or DGFT mode no seeker diamond appears on the HUD, no growl can be heard and the DGFT mode defaults to the gun with no option to select the missile. Desired behavior: Same operation as the 9M up until pickle where the jet should treat the missile like it's in SIM mode (no launch). Seeker should remain active after pickle. CATM-120-B/C Current Implementation: N\A Desired behavior: It should fully simulate an AMRAAM with a rocket in it's ass. Provided on the HUD should be the M/F pole, DLZ, and all the other symbology that should appear in MSL/A-A mode, as well as proper after launch symbology. PGM-65 Current Implementation: N\A Desired behavior: It should provide us with a view from the seeker on the WPN page, all up until launch when the seeker should unlock from the locked target but should keep providing the picture, as well as proper time to impact. No matter what I do I can't reproduce this in a custom mission Closest I got is with every single aircraft spawned in a single mission and it takes 3-5 secs to load textures In MP it takes 30ish secs to load Seems like it's limited to MP Edit: I noticed that when I enter mission editor the map takes a while to load which I also noticed in MP. If the game loads the bugged part in mission editor it might explain why I can't reproduce the bug in SP

  11. Is there a way we could see the document in question? Considering that people have posted proof of the contrary, you can't just expect from us to take your word for it, no?
  12. Should work the same as designating mark points or vis mode with JHMCS TMS fwd long to slave to JHMCS boresight and remain slaved I assume that logic should apply to everything possible with the helmet by design (for simplicity/universality)

I can't grasp the fact that the designers would downgrade a piece of kit in a newer block I'm not a betting man but if I had to bet I'd say ED is wrong here Would love to see the source behind this logic considering that ED uses publicly available documentation so it would clear things up imho
