AAARGHHH! This is driving me nuts! I've been playing with this for days. I am unable to host multi player missions! So far I have tried setting up a multi player mission directly in DCS ... I can play the mission but nobody else can access it. I can see it in the multi player server missions window but it doesn't show for anyone else. I then tried it via the DCS Server ... Again, I can play the mission, I can see the mission in the Multi player server window but nobody else can. I have attached both my router settings and my Norton 360 settings ... I created a port forwarding entry on the server for both TCP and UDP just in case. The "Internet usage" just shows the route of the permissions settings. The following two images are the Traffic Rules in Norton 360. Again, I set seperate rules for TCP and UPD (Ignore the "Edit Rule" Titles, I edited one to save doing two snips) When I test the 10308 port on my computer using PowerShell and "Test-NetConnection -ComputerNamer 127.0.0.1 -Port 10308" it works fine. When I try testing the port using an on-line service (YouGetSignal.com) the port fails. That's it guys. I'm at a loss. Any ideas? Many thanks Nial

Yep, that seemed to work., thanks. But if I open Scratchpad in Mission Editor I don't get the tick box or the +L/L icon. Is that normal behaviour?

I don't know what I was thinking but I have deleted the +L/L box from the Scratchpad window in the F10 map. I have downloaded the mod again and put a fresh script in the Saved Ganes/Scripts/Scratchpd folder but I can't get either the check box or the +L/L box to reappear! Any ideas

These are probably unrelated ... However I initialise the INU - Fast, Normal or Precision - it's not long before the AC-POS CAL DATA light comes on. Even after I have reset the INU using a Fix Point, it's not long before it comes on again! I have seen it before but it isn't something that comes on usually. Regarding the Home Airfield button - my home airfield is missing in Airfield 1. I end up resetting it at the beginning of the mission. Ignore the title of the attached mission, I've added it to include the Ka-50 III over time. If I recall, I'm using the Massun92-Humans asset pack. Any ideas? Hi admiki I have uploaded the "Mi-24P Operation_Haven" mission by spooky32. My missions have MODS but this mission is clean. I have the R-828 in the Mi-24P tuned to 50MHz FM and there is a ATC MTLB at the mission objective also tuned to 50MHz FM and repeating a morse code sound file. You can see from the track file that I try to tune the R-828 two or three times during startup but the Tuner light does not light up. I am using Channel 1 but 50MHz FM but the frequency is also tuned to Channel 7 by default. I've tried both. Kind regards Mi-24P Operation_Haven.miz Mi-24P Hind.trk

Just to test, I have placed a "GPU APA-80 on ZIL-131" truck in my mission. I have tuned the frequency to 25 MHz FM with a signal strength of 30. I have a morse code WAV file that he transmits on a loop. In my Hind I also set the frequency to 25 MHz FM on Channel 1. I have the ARK U2 turned on, using Comm initially. I set the R-828 to Channel 1 and press the Aut button to tune ... NOTHING! I cannpot get the R-828 to tune. Just in case it tuned in under cover and it's just the Tuner light that isn't working, I tuned th eradio to th eR-828 but there in no morse code! I also tried this on the preset Channel 7 (50 MHz FM), in both the plane and the truck. I have tried this in other missions. I have watched a couple of YouTube videos and some say set th efrequency in th etruck to AM modulation, but there is no AM option in the Hind's R-828 radio presets. Besides, I tried both AM and FM.4 Any ideas? Thanks guys.

When flying the A-10C out of Gaziantep, the barometric pressure is 2762. When I try and adjust down to that in the mission I can only get down to 2790 which is still 300ft AGL. I can't get it to zero. Any ideas? Thanks

In resolving something else, I discovered that some of the settings had changed under the 'Gameplay' options, in particular both 'Radio Assist' and also 'Easy Communication' were switched on. The strange thing is that I had not turned them on and I only realised it since the latest update. Anyway, I turned them back off and the radios work fine now. Nial.

Hi Guys I love this lua file. I promote it whenever I can. I'm having one issue and it's to do with a wingman - not so much an issue, maybe I'm doing it wrong or it isn't an option. I can set up my aircraft (client or player) and set them to takeoff from ground. If I want to fly with an AI wingman, as soon as I set the wingman to ACE (or whatever) the option to takeoff from ground becomes unavailable for both the client aircraft and the AI wingman. Is there a wotrkaround for this? I fly most of my missions single player but it would be good to have a wingman in the mission. Many thanks Nial

@Skuva - Yep, the Mini HUD option was ticked! I don't know how it got ticked and I didn't even know such an option existed Thanks again.

Hi Guys Since the last update, I have noticed that the Su-25T HUD is replicated when looking right or left when flying in VR. I'm using the Bigscreen Beyond so I haven't tested it on any other VR headset. Can anyone else confirm this, or otherwise? Thanks

Sorted ... So, ignoring the file names in the following image (it's just a generic image), right click on "TheWay Setup 2.5.0.exe" and select Properties/Security/Advanced. At the bottom of the resulting window there is a message that states, "This file came from another computer and might be blocked ..." Click "Unblock" and the installer will run just fine.

Hi Guys I uninstalled the previous version of TheWay with a view to upgrading to version 2.5.0. Yes, I know I didn't have to uninstall the earlier version, but I read that bit after I'd uninstalled it. However, I followed the instructions for the new version and clicked on the extracted installer file. I get the Windows wheel of death for a couple of seconds and then nothing! The installer will not run. I had this same issue with the old version and, for the life of me, I can't remember how I installed it. I tried running TheWay Setup 2.5.0.exe from the command prompt but is it just opens TheWayV250 folder. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Just a thought ... I have my radio buttons bound to "FR22 Push-to-talk" and "FR24 Push-to-talk". When I'm on the ground at Kutaisi, the FR22 radio works fine.

I can't get Beslan to talk to me on the radio. The FR24 is set to NORM + LARM. The FR22 is set to channel 21 on the right knob and C2 on the channel selector (270 MHz AM) No joy! I set the frequency to 270 MHz AM on the manual selector and pressed the minus symbol on the FR22 panel. I tried the manual selector in both AM and FM just in case the switch was reversed. I also tried the FR22 in A/G, B and C/F. Beslan is in the same coalition as me. BESLAN! PLEASE TALK TO ME! I'm just calling inbound so the runway lights come on. Any ideas. BTW - sorry if this has been brought up before. I searched but I couldn't find anything.

@MYSE1234 I ran the mission again and found the following: Reading back your initial post, it wasn't clear if I should initiate the data cartridge using the code 9099 and then enter the airfield code (90xx), 9014 in my case, or just initiate the data cartridge using the airfield code. I can confirm that the former works just fine ... initiate the data cartridge using the code 9099 (this sets waypoints etc. for the mission) and then enter the airfield code again for LS (this sets the departure airfield). Hi MYSE1234 Many thanks. I only use the "takeoff from ground" option when I use the "stopGaps standalone.lua" It's a requirement of the lua file. From your second option using coordinates, I assume I am setting the takeoff direction as if I was taking off from road runway? Many thanks

I have a mission taking off from Kutaisi on runway 07. The reciprical heading is 25 and this is usually the heading the computer is set to when entering 9099. When I input 9099 and click on LS/SKU, LS on the indicator jumps to B0 and the heading flashes between 4210 and 4288. I am unable to reset LS to the correct runway heading (0740) as LS is no longer an option, but I can change L1 between 0250 and the recipical heading 0740. I have some MODS in th emission file ...
