  1. Hello Otulf! And sadly, we got the same behavior.
  2. Of course, right. Yes, my left brake and right brake both are sliders/axis. Parking brake is a button.
  3. I know the correct step is Yes, I can engage the parking brake by depressing the brake pedals, but it will disengage as soon as you release the brake pedals. I haven't been in the AJS37 cockpit for so long, so I want to brush up on the control skills recently. And I still remember how the parking brake worked, and it was working properly. Did I miss something, or is this a known issue?
  4. Legend!!! Chuck, thank you so much for your excellent work!
  5. There are lots of kneeboard images on my DCS. I only want the kneeboard of Syria map show when I'm playing on the Syria map and flying any module. I don't want to see kneeboards for Nevada, Caucasus, Afghanistan, etc. Others are same. So %USERPROFILE%\Saved Games\DCS\Kneeboard is not suitable for me. The best way is copy the kneeboard images of map to DCS install path. Of course I know any changes to the installation directory will be reset after the DCS update, so we need OVMGE. Finally, copy kneeboard images to DCS install path cannot break IC. Good luck.
  6. Suggest installing the kneeboard images of the map onto the DCS main program folder through ovgme. So you can place a specific map's kneeboards only within that particular map. This path is for aircrafts not for terrains/maps.
  7. I'd like to ask about the 4-position rotary switch located below the Shrike Volume knob (I remember it's called the 'Shrike Selector Switch', may I might be mistaken). According to the cockpit labels, it has options like 'Walleye Test,' 'Shrike 1/2,' etc. Does it actually have any functional purpose?
  8. Thanks for your response, Bignewy. Hopefully, we can achieve this goal soon. Good luck!
  9. The current store options are all full fuel tanks for modules developed by ED. I want to be able to choose the empty fuel tank. The empty fuel tank option is available for some third-party modules, hope to see it for ED's modules in the future. Thank you!
  10. Hi Minsky, Report: seems the ILS freqs of AI Dhafra AFB in Gulf are reversed -- 13 is 109.10, 31 is 111.10. Thank you & Cheers! null
  11. Nevada is one of my favorite map, Nellis feels like a second home to me, and the neon-lit decadence of Vegas never fails to thrill me, as for the Container… well, that’s the stuff of Dreamland. (LOL wwwwwwww However, NTTR in DCS, is fading memories of an era, tears of the times... R.I.P.
  12. Yup, Cerberus North use the same syria map, but it perform well actually. And yes, I opened the tacview default. I try disable it, and there can be a certain increase in fps. Thank you ChillNG, I am using low graphic quality and turning off tacview recording, I can basically play at present. I will consider upgrading my hardware devices later. I really hope that in my lifetime, DCS engines and graphics optimization can make historic breakthroughs.
  13. If you only use TPOD to search for targets, it is indeed troublesome. But don't forget that our F/A-18C has an A/G GMT mode that can track moving targets and let TPOD slave to "see" them. That’s how I hit Target 3. Of course, Target 1 and Target 4 can also be tracked and confirmed using GMT.
  14. Main issue: As the title says, I'm getting terrible performance in this campaign - my FPS drops to a pitiful 10. I suspect it's because: There are too many units on the map The Syria map itself isn't well optimized My PC specs: CPU: i7 13700 RAM: 32GB DDR4 3200 GPU: RTX 3060 SSD: NVMe M.2 2TB No VR Other problem areas: I also experience lag when flying helicopters low to the ground in the Marianas map - may the dense vegetation really kills performance. What I've Tried: Set to low graphics settings Reducing resolution to 1920x1080 Toggling DLSS on/off During the DCS operation, shut down other non-essential softwares But nothing seems to make Weasels Over Syria playable on my PC...T T ------------------------------------------- However, all other missions and campaigns play smoothly for me at 2560x1440 resolution and High graphics settings, even in F/A-18C Cerberus North Campaign and AV-8B Kerman Campaign from Ground Pounder Sims, these all ran perfectly from start to finish. ------------------------------------------- My Question: In this case, which upgrade would be most effective? RAM: 32GB → 64GB? GPU? I know my RTX 3060 is flat, but it handles most DCS tasks fine. Are there some software settings that I'm not aware of that can increase FPS? Thank you pilots!
  15. I think it's related to the altitude of the region. The average altitude in Nevada is over 5000 feet, and the air in higher altitude areas is thinner, the amount of air intake required for vertical takeoff and landing decreases, and the engine output power decreases, thereby lowering the maximum vertical weight you can achieve during vertical takeoff and landing. In the same situation, you can try flying a helicopter in Nevada.
  16. Hey bro, I checked the ID lookup for the F-15E in Stream Deck, but the list is empty. Is this normal? Is this a known issue, or am I doing something wrong? Other modules table can be shown normally, it's not dcs setup path setting issue. However, it's working when I use others' (like Norsk_L) profile to control F-15E. Functions work but index table broke...
  17. The taxi and landing light switch status of the F-15C cannot be determined within the cockpit. Can I obtain this status value through ExportScript? The same question, I don't know the navigation light status (on or off) of the SU-25A/T.
  18. Last night, I successfully completed the final mission 15. It was an exhilarating experience to drop JDAM at a low altitude of 5,000 feet in the nighttime, evading a heavy barrage of anti-aircraft fire. After accomplishing our mission objectives, during AAR, as I climbed from 5,000 to 15,000 feet, the vast expanse of the night sky and the endless sea of clouds left me in awe, just as 420 expressed his admiration for the breathtaking beauty of night flight. It all made me feel so immersed and I'm really looking forward to the Rise of the Persian Lion 2. (`・∀・)b
  19. Yup and nice job, @Badger633, thank you for your timely response! BTW, your campaign is exhilarating, intense, and captivating. It has a great gaming experience.
  20. To evade the AIM-7, execute a 39 maneuver or fly directly away. After accelerating towards the sun, maintain a standoff distance of 7-8 nautical miles to entice the F-4s to pursue. Continuously monitor the F-4s using both visual cues and SA data link. Once you have a substantial energy advantage, turn towards the F-4s, reducing throttle to minimize your IR signature. Proactively deploy flares and, at the optimal engagement range, launch AIM-9X missiles. By leveraging the sun's glare, helmet-mounted cueing + ACM mode, and the AIM-9X's high off-boresight capability, you can effectively defeat two F-4s. When I first played the mission, I didn't even notice that I had a AIM-120...
  21. I've noticed a workaround for this issue (If you don't want to wait until ED releases the next version update to solve it). By manually landing my aircraft (110) at Ras Al-Khaimah (despite not being required to do so), I've found that the 410 will then proceed to follow the scripted sequence and attempt its emergency landing. You can try.
