You wrote that there would be no TV yet. There you need to switch to avionics 25T and you will look for "workarounds".

They make J-8PP. This is a J-8 with APG-66, HUD, afaik one MFD and a central data bus.

Yes, but, this airfield/roadbase, idk what it is, was modelled, and in your picture its playable airbase. In game we have destroyed/abandoned pice of infrastructure.
