I always preferred the wired link for my quest2- but that hasn't worked for months......very similar to this update, one day it stopped working, three dots appear and it never connects, so I was forced to use air link which is a pain... All these reasons are why personally I wouldn't buy another meta headset...just too much trouble, I go for another brand with a wired connection that just works

Agree it's not Ed's fault and that a fix may be difficult- communication is key , if we knew they were working to fix it and that at some point it would be ok again, then most people would accept that.... As it is I'm kind of left looking for other solutions, ideally to keep using the quest2 somehow ........

Unfortunately v63 is already released- it's now the current version, so basically everyone who doesn't have that very technical work around to prevent the update will find dcs doesn't work........given that I setup my whole pc and station, including choosing the quest2 , to play dcs, I'm really very annoyed. Not good enough to just rule out all oculus users....cash back for all the modules I've bought???!!

yeah, the image is great but they are constant trouble...ive had a progressive degrading of performance over the last few months: first the cable link stopped working, then the air link became problematic.... is there any other way of using the headdset with DCS? ive heard vd mentioned?

I should have also said the ticket reply suggested I go off beta updates for the oculus but im not using the PTC so cant really do anything here! Les

Hi all, I just got a ticket reply on this- it is the recent update to the oculus app thats causing the issue, they suggest reverting to a previous version of the oculus app but I cant find any way of doing this? does anyone know how to?

I've found I can't use dlss/fast with my quest2- it initially looks great, scenery and cockpits really nice , but I found that other aircraft disappear at certain ranges: you see them in the distance as a black dot, then as you get closer they disappear, closer still and you can see that they are flickering / ghosting really badly.....not ideal!!!

Sorted- I was amd software "anti lag" once disabled , everything is back to normal

Hi all, Encountered a strange problem today, which hasn't been there before- use of trim causes all control inputs to freeze for a few seconds, sometimes up to around 5 secs. Happens in all the modules I have. I have searched through the control settings to check for any double assignments, all is good, it happens if you use either keyboard or any assigned buttons on joystick etc. Seems to be related to the trim command rather than the assigned buttons...
