alright, thanks, I'll try it out!

I know this is some type of IFF thing but can someone explain more about this? I didn't see much mentioned in the manual. Is it functional? should I turn it on?
  5. I've had the same problems. It is noted in the changelog known issues about them opening prematurely. I've had good results by setting the fuze to 900 ft and putting in roughly a 12 degree dive right when the release que is at about 8 secs. I haven't tried at a lot of different altitudes yet, but seems to work 8k-10k barometric. Hope this helps.
  6. I figured it out. I put the markpoint in correctly but didn't hit auto aq switch aft to get it to slew.
  7. It's not letting me do anything on that page except enter training mode. Guess it's just a bug they will hopefully fix.
  8. Hey, so I created a mission to train air to air combat with and checked the unlimited weapons box and it does re-arm the jet after I use the first set of missiles , but it doesn't recognize that it's been re-armed (still shows empty on the armament page). Anyone know of a way to get it to re-scan the loadout?
  9. for altitude hold, trim till level then engage, or you can trim while a/p is on if you know which way to trim and alt hold will engage. Alt select works but you have to be at mil power and it'll eventually start making pitch adjustments.
  10. The A/G radar kinda does that, if that helps.

Ah ok, well, glad its not just me. Thanks!

    MK 20's

Hey all, I made a post earlier about how I couldn't get cbu-97's on target and someone pointed out its a known issue that cbu's are opening prematurely. Now I'm trying the mk-20 rockeyes and I can't get these on target either. They seem to be deploying on time but they're a good ways off to one side or the other. Does anyone else have this problem? I didn't see a mention in the changelog known issues post. I'd assume the F-15's computer would calculate for any windage, would it not?
  13. I'm having the same problem. I put the mark point number on the pb button but the tpod doesn't slew to any of them. Pressing that button is also suppose to cycle through them I think but doesn't.
  14. I'm crashing as well when making a map image. *edit* seems to work better on caucasus map, but still crashes.
  15. Unfortunately, I don't have room on my drive to have both. Thanks guys.
  16. "If the product description does not have information about which DCS World version you should install, you only need to have the "Stable" version DCS World installed on your PC." ^ doesn't that mean available to stable as well?
  17. Hey, I'm having the same issue with Sinai now showing up for installation after purchase, except I only have the stable version. I believe its up to date version 2.8.4.39731. It doesn't show at all in the terrains tab (for purchase or otherwise) of the module manager. Same account/name used to purchase and log into the game with.
  18. You guys rock! Thanks!
  19. Hey, can someone tell me what the two solid lines are on the pilot's TID and if there's a way to turn them off?
  20. Alright, appreciate it guys!
  21. Hey, is there a way for the F-14B to tune/use airbase ILS? I'd like to try an IFR landing.
  22. It's gps enabled too. I figured that would guide it correctly until the preprogrammed auto lase time kicked in, factoring in speed and altitude. Although it works now that I've adjusted for speed, it still seems kinda temperamental compared to other gbu's. Btw, some Ram Jam would've made good background music in the video (Bam a lam) lol
  23. That seems to be it. I slowed down to ~235 kts and went 5 for 6 on the 1st attempt ( the one run that missed, I was at ~260 kts) and went 6 for 6 on the 2nd attempt. As well as adjusting altitude. I hadn't been paying attention to the radar altimeter and saw I was 2,000 ft lower than I thought. Thanks for the help, it was driving me crazy!!
  24. yeah, I noticed the overshoot. I also read in another post, someone mentioning kinda the same thing. It seems to fly level for too long before nosing down to catch the laser. I'll hop on and try releasing at a slower speed. That's a cool comparison video you put together!
  25. 1st attempt on this one. Came in a little lower altitude on this one. a10c GBU 54(2).trk
