Thanks as well for checking on this and all the testing.

They do have release options set up, but in auto mode the accuracy is off for the time being (for all unguided bombs) if dropping a single bomb. If set to ripple single, and setting the BOT to 1, it does good. Or if dropping a single bomb, putting in a 10-15 degree dive when the release cue starts falling works as well.

In the track I provided, my cbu-97 dropped as accurate as it could be and only did a little over half damage to a T-72. If it were the T90 it'd have been even less damage done. Also, what about when we ripple these bombs? There's no way to get all 13 of the bombs I can carry to hit precisely on each target. They aren't guided weapons, so I don't see why we're expected to get pinpoint accuracy in order to take out a armored unit. If the change is left as is, I won't see a point in equipping these bombs if I can't count on them to do the job. Which sucks as a F-15E pilot since most of our ordinance choices aren't viable at the moment. Please ask them to reconsider this change.

Thanks for checking and the update!

So, I use to be able to take out a T-72 or T-90 tank with a single cbu-97 and now it only seems to damage them and the amount of damage varies wildly. Was this an intentional change? Anyone else noticing this? Not sure if it matters but this is while flying the F-15E.

Yes, I figured it out. Thanks again!

So, every time I try to open multithread dcs via the shortcut on my desktop, I get this system error saying these files weren't found: edCore.dll, Terrain.dll, edObjects.dll, World.dll. Yet I see them in the bin-mt folder and the app works when I click on it directly from the file explorer. Anyway to fix this? Thanks for any help.

Bombs dropping in auto mode simply doesn´t work
Flapjacks replied to DST's topic in Bugs and Problems
I watched some of the trk and noticed you hadn't activated the point track. Hit auto acquisition press and move the cursor to activate it after you designate, you'll see ptrk/atrk boxed. It won't fix your original issue, but thought I'd throw that out there. Maybe try uninstalling and reinstalling the module? -

I've been having the same issue from time to time. Although the connecting by ip address, then logging off would show the servers. Unless I reloaded the page, then they wouldn't show and I'd have to log in via ip address again. Hope they fix this soon. -
Hey, is there a way to cycle through waypoints with the hotas or is it only through push buttons?

To get them to hit accurately when on the MP server (dealing with wind), I'll be between 8-12k ft, but I have to dive about 10 to 15 degrees when I see the release cue, so I probably lose about 1,000 ft by the time they release. With no wind, I've gotten hits from as high as 30k ft (no dive).

Yeah, the 105's is what I use in the A-10C II. I've been using 900 or 1200 ft burst too. I try to fly with or towards the wind as well, but they still miss unless I unload a bunch of them or put in a bit of a dive when the release que starts to drop. I guess I'll just have to wait for the 105's to be added. Thanks for the reply!

^^ what he said. I have the same hotas and by default I think it had my throttle mapped to the pitch, roll or rudder axis.

nvm, I see, Thanks.

What about it?
