  1. Just confirming that with a VPforce FFB stick, with today's DCS patch installed, the 14's ACLS attempts a belly flop about a mile out. Also, does anyone else have the issue with the VPforce Rhino stick where the trim slams full over to one side and stays there during a landing unless you use the Override Trim option?
  2. Necroing this, because I want the same solution.
  3. I'm having the same failure to release issue. Walleyes and Mavericks release fine, but the GBU-8s seem bugged.
  4. I'm having this same issue. I can't tell if the GBU-8s are bugged.
  5. Can confirm that I can't see or select anything past the first Walleye bombs in VR. Thanks for the work around.
  6. Just confirming the bug. No alignment available from the front seat.
  7. Can confirm. Using the pimax crystal controllers in controller mode for VR still does not allow for pressing and holding a button or switch, and this is also screwing up pressing mfd buttons for some reason. Switching to hands in the vr menu remedies this, but then kills the mouse scroll wheel function and makes right clicking more challenging.
  8. Pimax Crystal User. Can confirm, day or night in VR the iflols lights are a ball of green with the ball totally lost in the green glow, making the iflols useless without the overlay. Also, sorry to add a sidebar, but are the lights still only calibrated for the 18 and not the 14?
  9. I'm attempting this right now. What tools did you use?
  10. The last couple of days I've been trying to launch DCS into desktop mode from the launcher and the only screen that loads is a tiny toolbar that can barely fit "DCS" and a red X close window button on it. My mouse is confined to this, and clicking on the close button presents the "are you sure you want to exit the game" pop-up inside of this shrunk window where it cannot be seen or interacted with. The only way to close the program is through task manager. I can share my settings if requested, but it doesn't seem to matter. If I re-open the launcher and run file repair, allow it to complete, and try launching in desktop mode again, then it opens fine. If I then close the game and try again, the cycle repeats. This didn't happen until, well, you guys broke the spotting dots for VR users and made VR pointless. I really don't know, for all I know this has been going on since this jank launcher was introduced.
  11. Bumping this because months later and the vr controllers that once worked perfectly fine are still jacked up. The traditional vr controls settings simply won't click mfd buttons in the cockpit for me. The hand controllers have a very weird and uncomfortable ~90 degree offset from where I'm actually pointing and won't allow for mouse wheel scrolling. I've been trying to get by picking whichever control setting seems to captire the most clicks in the cockpit for a particular airframe, and then having to grab for my mouse for complex operations like right-clicking or mouse wheel scrolling. What's super frustrating is this seems like a universal problem for most VR users, and this should have been able to be fixed with an "oops! That feature didn't integrate well at all. Let's roll back to the last stable version of that feature until we get the new implementation figured out.". Like what's also not happening with the ability to turn spotting dots off. Pimax crystal user with the stock pimax controllers that came with the set. No lighthouse plate, or any other conflicting peripherals. I can provide screen captures if that helps, but I think all the behavior I've been seeing mirrors what other users already posted here. Edit for additional details : Standalone multithreading version of DCS.
  12. Same. Pimax Crystal user. Can't turn the spotting dots off. I'm not wasting time on this game until this is fixed. BTW. This has been just another chain of bugs that has kept my RIO and I from getting any practice at all for about a month now. Can we please get some quality assurance from ED before pushing patches? Having game or emersion breaking bugs piled on us each patch is really making it look like ED doesn't have a single developer who has ever worked on a commercial product before.
  13. Same. I have a Crystal headset, so I can see fine without the dots. Having them on really ruins the emersion for me.
  14. It looks like both the mission reset bug, and the 'AI helicopters just sometimes can't figure out where the ground is' bug both got addressed in the latest patch's changelog.
  15. @Reflected No mods for me. Like OldBadger's experience, my helicopter crash happened at the end of a long setup (I did a full INS align). I have no idea what triggered it. Cobra also just went through the smoke for me, but after the weapon safety station, he froze at the runway and wouldn't proceed to take off. Knowing more about how the campaign is setup, I suspect that I missed throwing a switch in the cockpit, but the prompt never queued for some reason.
