  1. Can't wait for this update!
  2. I couldn't find a way in game to adjust the resolution. I finally got it running last night and... wow. It's amazing to actually sit in the cockpit. I flew the F86 an the F15 for a little bit. Huds on both are pretty good. Trying to distinguish switches isn't as easy as I thought, maybe the in game resolution is at play here? But not sure. Running on a 390 I definitely had to set it to low.
  3. Anyone gotten it running? I tried firing up the game with the headset running and was unable to get it to display anything, game also failed to load properly on my monitor. Is there a setting i need to enable in the game prior to trying it with the headset?
  4. Got my leap the other day, and it looks like Orion is truly a winner. This is some incredible tech and at $25 was a steal. Tossing in my 2 cents to say that support for this would be great.
  5. Anyone have any code/sketches using DCS BIOS and an I2C connection? I'm using an HT16k33 board to run a LED matrix for a caution panel.
  6. I sent you a PM with a link to the logs. I don't see anything in there causing this.
  7. I haven't had windows firewall enabled, but I did go into my router and add 7778 for udp and tcp. I also added new rules to windows firewall to accept connections to that port for UDP and TCP. I do have a hardware VPN for work, but my home computer is on the DMZ port, so I don't think that should be affecting it.
  8. Scored a Mega, Uno, and Micro today. Plus project enclosures that will soon be button boxes.
  9. Also, unable to get anything from the Interactive Control Reference Documentation.
  10. I'm not overly familiar with this, so forgive me if I sound like an idiot :) Aside from the comport, should I be editing anything in that example as written? Running it as listed gave me a connection refused message which terminated the script. Should I be supplying my internal IP or localhost?
  11. So, I raided Radio Shack's still warm body and picked up a couple Arduinos to mess around with. I've owned them in the past and have written sketches so I'm familiar with that aspect of this. I'm just doing the little master caution light walk through and I've got my light lighting just fine, however my button isn't changing in the game. The Serial connector is registering my presses in the window, but it doesn't have any effect in the game. Any idea what to trouble shoot? We're definitely getting exports from the game, but not sure it's writing back to it.
  12. For $150, you can count me in, kit or otherwise.
  13. Was all geared up to watch it on my oculus... but nooo, someone had to post it for the muggles :p
  14. I mean, my plan is to map left click to the unused pinky switch that they added to the joystick. Assuming I can control the cursor with my head.
  15. You're out of luck at the moment if you're running an AMD GPU though.
  16. Man, it's killing me that this doesn't work on AMD cards. I've got everything else working, but this is what I was looking forward to most :D
  17. Bummer, got my processing notice today. Hopefully EDGE is really around the corner!
  18. So has anyone gotten DK2 working with an AMD card yet or do we have to wait for Edge?
  19. Is your mod easily changed back to default Warthog set up?
  20. Hey All, I'm looking to build a cheap DIY Collective for the Huey. I'm going to just make a cheapo frame and do a Hall Effect Sensor and PVC arm mounted to it. I'm also planning to do a twist throttle and a few buttons/switches on a panel at the end and on the console. I'd like to incorporate an adjustable hydraulic damper to maintain position of the collective when I have to take my hand off, but I'm having issues locating one. Figured I'd consult the Gestalt of this forum and see if you all knew of anything that might fit the bill. Basically, a screendoor arm that can be set to maintain it's position when no pressure is applied. Also, if anyone has any twist throttle recommendations I'd appreciate it. I've found a few online but having no frame of reference is making it a difficult choice. Thanks!
  21. Have you spent any time testing out the Roto-x inputs on the groovy game gear board?
  22. Thank you for these videos. I purchased the board before I even got through the 3rd vid :p Huge help. Just wish there were better options for the momentary switches on older games :) Looking forward to seeing how your mode toggle switch comes out. Anyone having difficulty finding an appropriate enclosure box? All I've got around here is a radio shack without much stock. Any tips would be appreciated as to where I might search. -rc
