  1. So @PatatOorlog suggested that I remove SuperCarrier from my installed modules, which is crazy, but it worked immediately in joining ECW. @BIGNEWY
  2. Yeah, I've spent every hour since the update trying everything. As I only play ECW, I basically have to wait for a patch.
  3. I tried disabling TacView, but that did not help. Trying a full repair now. Repair did not solve it. I made a recording, although I think it is easy to reproduce:
  4. You now choose coalition and servers can opt-in on dynamic slots (which will solve this probably, as long lists of slots were not optimized in VR). dcs.log
  5. After selecting your coalition, the slotting screen is about 1 frame per minute. Some people without VR can get in by applying a filter, but with VR it is impossible to slot.

  7. @BIGNEWY Tried air refueling again today with my colleague (to test my new flightstick base) and there are still sync issues. Colleague requested contact on the right side many times and did not get a clear contact and also never saw the right chute. (for me both were extended) When I aborted fueling and requested fueling again, the left chute retracted for my colleague but not for me. We were both using MT version and I was the server.

  9. It would be really nice to map an axis from 0% to 100% for radar elevation.
  10. I just started learning the Phantom yesterday. Are there more functions in the manual that are not implemented that I should know about to save myself time?
  11. According to the manual there should be an option to bind the gun camera to the first indent of the trigger of my stick. https://f4.manuals.heatblur.se/cockpit/pilot/stick_seat.html But I can not find it in the menu.

  13. @Rapierarch said that 16GB vram was not enough with my graphics settings in VR on ECW and gave me some advise on which settings I could lower. I have lowered some (texture/LoD) setting and recorded a close pass that would normally induce a stutter, but there were no stutters this time. Will do some more coming Saturday, but this looks promising. If my problems are gone, I'll give some details on my changed settings and mark it as solution. day7_pantom_1.mp4
  14. Here I have a video with the same stutters, but without having killed him. Seems more related to getting really close (which of course happens much more often when you fly the Fagot).
  15. Not encountered the stutter last Thursday. Will try again tonight.
  16. I see a lot of performance optimizations (some specifically for busy servers) in the changelog. Will see if I can see any stutter after the patch, as I'd rather do what our squad was intended to do with the limited time I have.
  17. I have personally not encountered an F-14 yet and have never played on other servers, except for KOREA-1952. Will propose to recreate similar situations with F-15E and F-14 to our Fagot Squad, but my own free time is limited.

  20. As some people may know I'm recording a lot of Phantom kills. Often times there is a very notable stutter shortly after, then the aircraft is (presumably exploding) outside the field-of-view; during gameplay that is not very disturbing, but it ruins my recordings. I have 16GB of VRAM and 64GB of RAM, so it should not have anything to do with swapping textures. Some people say that I reduce them into too many small particles, but in any case there is something very unoptimized with the post-Reap mechanism. day5_3_hits_2.mp4

  22. I now see I always have a pilot (dummy) in the back; same glitch.
  23. Tried again with fresh start in ECW; exact same problem. Both running MT.
  24. I have no previous experience in multiplayer with this module. This was first time.
  25. Oh well... make a copy then while they are uncompressed.
