  1. It seems you have a point and I will be less confident in trusting statements in the future. My sole focus is informed consent for the customer because I consider a 'refund' (no money back, after all) afterwards insufficient, but I now believe that all parties involved agree on that.
  2. RAZBAM had already asked ED to take it off the store, to which the response of ED was that it was still on RAZBAM's store. Since RAZBAM has removed it, their previous argument does not hold anymore.
  3. No matter what is going on 'higher up' behind the scenes, what I think customers all agree on is that it is not fair that customers are not informed about the (current/projected) lack of support and the uncertain future before purchase and only getting in-store credit in return when they find out about it. On ED Discord the standard response is "early-access", but this is quite obviously not that simple. Studying, practicing and falling in love with a module is a big investment.
  4. Not encountered the stutter last Thursday. Will try again tonight.
  5. I believe there is a patch today.
  6. When was that? As that is not the impression I get currently in our conversations with CptSmiley (going through his messages now).
  7. Metal2Mesh, Galinette and CptSmiley.
  8. Some key devs have publicly stated they will not associate with ED anymore and at this point I do not think an apology would change that. Family and livelihood first; passion and support second.
  9. I get the impression that ED sees a future refund as their way out of any blame, but for many people the dedication in study/practice and heart can not be resolved by a 'refund' (i.e. in-store credit for some other module).
  10. They keep saying their refund-policy is per-case. Have no idea what that means. To me it seems random.
  11. I see a lot of performance optimizations (some specifically for busy servers) in the changelog. Will see if I can see any stutter after the patch, as I'd rather do what our squad was intended to do with the limited time I have.
  12. I'm not someone to jump on early access modules anymore, but in this Eagle case there is a real possibility that there is a limited time that I am able to enjoy it in multiplayer with the latest version of DCS. If I knew I could refund when the situation concludes that this is the end-of-the-line, I would buy the F-15 now and keep it in case this dispute ends with a fizzle. However, when asking about the nebulous 'per-case' purchase/refund policy on ED Discord, people say I'm abusing the refund policy and basically call me a bad person for it. Only recently I'm informed about such risks regarding third-party, but if I'd stumble upon the Eagle on Steam two months ago I'd have no way of knowing about this whole ordeal. I really think that is not fair.
  13. I have personally not encountered an F-14 yet and have never played on other servers, except for KOREA-1952. Will propose to recreate similar situations with F-15E and F-14 to our Fagot Squad, but my own free time is limited.
  14. First kill has the exact same stutter: The kill at 1:30 has the exact same stutter:
  15. Exact same stutter, exact same timing, again outside field-of-view. day5_dead_stutter.mp4
  16. As some people may know I'm recording a lot of Phantom kills. Often times there is a very notable stutter shortly after, then the aircraft is (presumably exploding) outside the field-of-view; during gameplay that is not very disturbing, but it ruins my recordings. I have 16GB of VRAM and 64GB of RAM, so it should not have anything to do with swapping textures. Some people say that I reduce them into too many small particles, but in any case there is something very unoptimized with the post-Reap mechanism. day5_3_hits_2.mp4
  17. At least I know how to get rid of it now. Thanks! Was really annoying.
  18. I now see I always have a pilot (dummy) in the back; same glitch.
  19. Tried again with fresh start in ECW; exact same problem. Both running MT.
  20. I have no previous experience in multiplayer with this module. This was first time.
  21. Oh well... make a copy then while they are uncompressed.
  22. You are correct. Will edit my post. Still 1,2GB total of uncompressed wave files, but didn't know there were more.
  23. Seems a bit excessive to add some random uncompressed album to it twice. The .wav files are ~15% of the module size and that does not include the .ogg files that is used for anything else.
  24. I tend to do the bare necessities to do what I need to do. If I encounter something I cannot do, I'll see if I missed a bit.
