Tried to ask questions concerning some of things I know are possible like laser guided bombs and everyone either does not give me the same answer or say it’s impossible.

I’m making an F-35 mod. Would you help me with some of the coding?

@FlyingAlex You realize that take away TV and use a different 3D model you have a basic F-35?

So my question still stands @Nightstorm I just want to know how to change the files to try and get close. Yes I realize that AESA is impossible at the moment to fully make.

Spino from Spinos simulations used this to make his F-15EX and I asked him and he said that Nightstorm used something to try and simulate AESA radar. And Spino had used those files with permission of course.

@Nightstorm Does this mod have a Discord? Also does this mod change RADAR for AESA purposes? And are those pages like the HSI custom? How much of this is FC3 based?

Quite possibly. Theirs currently 3 F-35 projects being worked on. A51 which has probably stolen the 3D model and has other issues. Another one that just got all their F-35 files corrupted on their computer and me with whatever happens here. Got a 3D model of plane and cockpit.

@Spino It was the Range Targets mod. I didn't know it was their. I recently changed everything to OVGME so their is some confusion with my mods.

I’m currently WORKING on one. Can guarantee it won’t be realistic because it just flat out can’t be. I might stop because of things coming up or if people start bugging me. Or I might just make it personal depending on how bad it is. I will release 3 times. I will start with making the A model alone then go to C then B. Each will also come with a major update. I expect first release to have EFM, custom cockpit( non clickable) and custom radar and weapons. I will make a total of 3 versions for each model. A regular a A/G and a block 4. This would probably be released either this year or next but probably this. This is my first time making a mod so it will probably take longer than I expect. I will ask for coding help from the community from time to time probably. Just keep that in mind here. It’s also just me working on it. Will have DAS eventually. Their are NO promises here.

Yeah it really is to classified to make realistic. But we can sure give it a shot. A51 doesn’t surprise me after what happened. As for F-35 maneuverability F-18 and F-35 pilots can be quoted that it performs very similar as Super Hornet. Except has a bit more power down low

And do you know that F-35 has a higher thrust to weight ratio than F-16 or F-18? Or the fact it has a bigger wing area than F-16 or F-18 legacy?

F-35 has 9X and IR reducing coating. No this particular project is no longer going it’s become more a discussion of F-35 mods in general

When I talked about the airshow it came out different than intended. I just mean that maybe, it gets overlooked just a little too much. Most people hate it. Until about 8 months ago I thought it was horrible. Than I started digging, and found that it can more than hold its own in a dogfight and has the most advanced weapons and sensors of any plane on the planet. That’s when gears started turning. So I don’t know where I was going here. But I’m just saying do some actual research. I’m not making stuff up here. Those are actual things. So just back off it a little.

I wonder how many of you know this little fact I just calculated out. The F-35 can haul 3542 pounds more than the F-22

I’m curious why they can’t just open the bay for a second so that it doesn’t start the motor inside the bay. If it’s on the door anyway

How big of an RCS change is it? From what I understand it’s only like.01 or something. I don’t know how RCS is rated but that seems pretty small to me. And I THINK( I’m not positive about this) that the AIM-9X-2 or AIM-9X-3 will be able to fire from the weapons bays.

In the end if it has a sidewinder you’re dead. It won’t need to go BFM. After all it can fire backwards. Let’s see the F-22 do that.

The F-22 that is the king of the dogfight, no doubt about that, however it has the capability one v one to beat an F-16. The reason it didn’t back in 2013 or 14 when they did the test was because the F-35 had its virtual hands tied behind its back. No DAS. No 9 G pull, it was regulated to 4-5 gs. And even then it almost got a shot off once. The F-16 and it when squared equally or with F-16 advantage the F-16 would beat it. However, when the F-35 had advantage it got caught in a stale mate. A lot of that test and many others are extremely classified. But have you ever seen it at an airshow? Because I have, and I think it could only be said to be F-22 esque

These are legit titles. The red flag records came from US Air Force generals and the Air Show guy there is a F-35 test pilot. Maybe I can’t get it exact, but I’d rather have that than nothing at all. I also get the feeling you are not a free mod person at all. So what are you doing in a forum for mods?

Multi role yes. Air to air dominates. Has a 20-1 red flag and a 22-0 red flag. It’s more than a competitor to F-22

What do you mean all I do? I’m just sticking up for the aircraft. F-22 gets a shot, and the F-35 is arguably better. So why is it not represented?
