Today i got a tip from the German Forums to roll further back to Driver v.162.18 .... AND IT WORKED!! No more flicker, so those of you with 7XXX Nvidia cards be carefull with what Driver you install.

I have no mods installed ATM and the strange thing is when im spawning on the Tarmac and look into the sky the clouds dont flicker. They only flicker when i start rolling and take off :huh:

I updated from 163.75 ( wich had no problem running FC ) to 169.04 Beta from Nvidias Homepage but it caused a strange flicker in the sky over the airfield so i uninstalled it Cleaned all Driver components, and Cab out with Driver Cleaner in Safemode, then i ran a registry cleanout and installed 163.75 again. As you can see that didnt help.

Can anyone tell me what causes this strange Cloud behavior .... So far i have changed driver 2 times and reinstalled LOmac/FC 2 times to no avail and im slowly STARTING TO GO DESPERATE !!!!! I made a Video Here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VGcpNgn4R6I Any help would be appreciated

It all started when i installed the Ground Pounder terrain Beta and Grandsurfs Airbasemod plus the NOMERA UPDATES by Deadman ..... Clouds at medium distance started to disappear/reappear rapidly flickering wildly. First i thought it was a Driver problem because i installed the latest Nvidia Driver earlyer that day so i rolled back to the one i used before. That didnt help so i uninstalled/reinstalled Lockon but theFlickering persists and im slowly going nuts. Any help would be appreciated.

Well GOZR i've been running Two 7900 GTO on SLI for allmost 8 month now and i would really like to know how you got your framerates doubbled and what Cards you are running SLI ATM. And im assuming you got your framerates doubled by going SLI and not by using a CPU going twice as fast. My expirience SLI wise with LockOn has not been anywhere near Double, in fact its allmost the same as when i ran the game on a single 7900GTO. Whether i run Lomac on single card, Alternating or on Splitframe the framerates only differ slightly, so i stick to single card mode. Games, supporting SLI, on the other hand run fantastic. Im running the latest Nvidia Driver ATM so If it only takes a rollback to 92.91 ill be happy to do so.

Reading about the new terrain i see that The map will be extended down to Georgia and the turkish border. But what about the Crimean peninsula, will it still be available with all its Airbases or does the Eastern expansion cost us the western part ?

The catapult only works on AI. So if you want to take off from the Carl Winson you should roll down to the aft end, turn around, and then go full throttle .... that should get you Airborn.

Why don't you Guys just join one of the squadrons that allready exist ? I got a list of 59 LockOn squadrons from all ower the World. Just Click the Fanpage link in my Sig and have a look. :pilotfly:
