Endorsing people not to take off from the taxiway has never worked either.... not on 504 , or on any other server i know of ,its written in the server rules but i se players do it all the time cause 1. They dont give a rats **s about server rules Or 2. They havent read the briefing at all Endorsing, not to use Flash jammers will have the same effect, the snakes are out of the box people know about it and people will use it. Just face it ...... You can rant, rave and vhine at them, and you can call them cheaters, lamers and exploiters and you can report them to the united nations demanding a resolution to severely punish them !!!!! ....... But thats about all you can do and thats all the server provider can do ......... Players will just carry on flashin their jammers. So as i said before you might as well allow it cause you cant prevent/ police it for the time beeing untill ED comes up with some kind of solution.

One thing is using this ( Call it Cheat, exploit or whatever ), another thing is what to do about it. No one here has given it a thought on how ECM blinking should be prevented on a public server. There are no means to hinder ppl doing it either by using the index finger pressing the "E" key one or two times a second ( wich by some people seems to be OK ) or by using a macro or a script. You can prohibit it in your Briefing but when hard pressed some will use it anyway, and then what? How would you sanction it ? Call the server admin demanding the "Cheater" to be banned? The server admin has no way in hell to controll if those accusations are correct cause flashing jammers wont show on the debrief screen like illegal ( Loped ) payloads would. So unless hes on the server all the time controlling if the server rules are obeyed, he would have to make his decition ( To Ban .... or not to Ban ) :) on accusations alone The only way you can try to prevent the use of Flash Jammers is asking ppl to act like gentlemen and NOT to use them ...... unfortunately history shows this approach seldom works :( So you might aswell allow it and let people learn how to deal with it until ED comes up with a solution. It prevents any misunderstanding ( did he press "E" ? or did he use a script? ) and it prevents the server admin from getting an Ulcer. just my 2 cents

Flight models are just as bad as in OFP But the graphics are awesome and having this really HUGE terrain map with lots of towns, roads, mountains, hills and plains makes it superior to any other infantery sim on the market right now.

Today i installed a second Nvidia 7900gt card on my rig and stepped into SLI mode. I would be gratefull to any suggestions on how to set up LockOn to get the best performance with SLI. I know Lomac is not made for SLI and i have ran into one problem allready when trying to assign AA and AF to Lockon.exe using the control panel user interface for some strange reason it wont work like when i had only one card installed. Asus A8n-SLI Pemium AMD 4400 Dualcore @ 2.5 mhz. 2 gig Kingston hyperX 2 x Nvidia 7900gt SLI oc'ed

Is it possible to move around with the wegetation like single trees who allready are in the game ? Like these palmtrees on the promenade in Novorussisk?

The refueling is scripted so when you approach with the right closure speed and altitude you can let go of the stick and twiddle your thumb til your plane is filled up. Why ED kept the scripted refueling for the F-15 but not for the SU33 in 1.12 ????? ..... i have no idea :mellow:

Found this site about the "Thud" for those who dont know it allready its really informative it even includes several documentary movies ( i guess made by the military channel ) showing under what conditions and restrictions the pilots had to fly. http://www.burrusspta.org/thud.html

Just look into the sky any given day and you will see dozens of Vapor trails from Commercial and military airplanes

Valery & Johnny K. those skins are Phantastic :) Where can i download them ? i can only find the MIG skin on your name in Lockonfiles Valery. I alleady have the VMFA 451 from LOU installed and those two skins of yours plus the one from Johnny.K would make a great asset to the" phantoms department " in LockOn.

As far as i recall there was talk about implementing a civilian AI aircraft to LockOn some time ago i think it was a YAK 40 or 42 cant find the tread anymore though :(

Easyly installed with MODMAN and no prob at all with servers i have been using it since the first edition and allmost cant live without it. :smilewink:
