  1. They just did, see:
  2. This link hasn't been posted yet: https://mozaracing.com/blog/2025/06/27/moza-releases-at-flightsimexpo-2025/
  3. Yes, of course. It's smaller too and almost certainly far lighter. Still too high for on desktop, but plenty people have cheap, weak desks, so it might be a better option for some people anyway.
  4. I took a further look at the grip, and it is plastic vs metal for the MH16, and is missing the brake lever, so it must be a cheaper grip. Those are two rows of buttons (4 on each side) with RGB lighting. And they put two sliders on the front (unclear if they are encoders or axes). That makes me think that they also have to do a refresh of the AB9 to add these features, since now the AB9 is a downgrade in some ways, which would be weird.
  5. Well, we already know that Moza can make one at 599 euros. And they are already pushing FFB down the stack with the 4.4 Nm one they just announced, so that one will be cheaper still, but weaker too.
  6. Yeah, I got the mail too. Very intrigued by the 4.4 Nm AB6 base. Unfortunately we haven't been given a price, perhaps they'll announce that at FS Expo. If they shave off quite a bit of the price compared to the AB9, it may get very competitive with the top non-FFB bases. https://mozaracing.com/flight/ab6-mhg-bundle/ I also wonder what the deal is with the new grip compared to the MH16 (which is not so good). Is it supposed to be a cheaper grip? Or a different use case? Not sure at first glance.
  7. The latest teaser gave a 2026 date, so you need to wait longer still. We'll at best get a reveal at FSExpo, not a release.
  8. You don't need reading glass inserts for VR headsets, since everything is projected at distance. So you only need inserts if you are short-sighted.
  9. The Quest 3 and Pimax Crystal Light are the main options for a decent price. The Quest 3 is cheaper, has better QA and is from a more professional company. It also has the option for wireless use and use standalone for other games. The Crystal Light is better quality. Don't get the cheaper Quest 3S, that has far worse lenses. For the non-S version, there is only one memory variant with 512 GB. Although for simming you don't need much and can also look at a second hand one with 128 GB. Lots of people buy VR headsets and then almost never use them, so you can sometimes score good 2nd hand deals on barely used headsets (I got one still with the original controller batteries). Note that almost anyone should get a head strap replacement for their Quest 3, since the standard one is awful. And if you wear glasses, I would strongly advise inserts.
  10. That case has been out for 2 weeks, so no reviews out yet. The predecessor had one decent review, but not more than that, so it seems like a rather niche case. I would personally go for something from an established brand with extremely good reviews by multiple reviewers, like the Fractal Design North (XL). The power supply has a non-standard connector layout, which can make things a bit prettier, but you pay a premium for it, and can be a problem to reuse in a different case. I would personally prefer just a traditional power supply. For the 9800X3D, I'd go with an air cooler, for better durability & fewer downtime, leakage and overheating risks. Of course, you may really prefer the looks of an AIO. The specced cooler has the same issue as the case. It's been released last month, with no proper reviews yet. However, just based on the price alone and how limited the heat is that comes off the CPU, you pay hundreds more for the build with pretty much no benefit other than looks. I'd just go for a 6000CL30 DDR-kit, but since you have a builder, it's their responsibility to make sure the RAM is stable. The TUF line are generally good GPU's. The NVMe has one of the new PCIe 5 controllers, which is very good. I'd just get the 4 TB version, since you can never have enough storage.
  11. I thought that it is just a generic chinesium clamp with their logo. There are a ton of these already on the Internet I doubt that Monstertech would allow rebrandings. That was one of the things I noticed as well.
  12. FFB is probably the only way to properly fix that, albeit at a considerable cost.
  13. Well, I am rather critical of how Moza has a tendency to throw half-finished products onto the market, in particular on the software-side. That said, I like how they are committed, unlike Thrustmaster, who develop the occasional new product for simming, but fail to create a fully developed eco-system, even though that is the new meta. Upstarts like Moza are actually acting like a big company that can afford to create a breadth of products, while companies that ought to be capable of that, and definitely have the history and brand name, utterly fail to deliver. I am also quite happy with my Moza racing wheel, but I only bought it once they sorted out their offering. What I find attractive about the Moza AB9 is that they are making it into a multi-function product, which can be used both for racing and flight, which is very nice for those of us who do both. Anyway, my advice in general would be to salivate over the new stuff all you want, but then remember that words are cheap, and actually delivering things to customers is hard, so you only know what you are actually getting for your money once regular people get the product and tell us what the actual strengths and weaknesses are. Buying anything before that is essentially just gambling with your money.
  14. I see red flags all over the place, from the absurd 'American' marketing full of exaggerations and nonsense everywhere, to the fact that they chose a name that is already taken in the com domain and not registered in the pl or eu domain (showing a lack of due diligence). So only back it if you are fine with losing the money and not ending up with a product. The interesting parts that I see: Using a magnetic connector that is probably non-indexed for the joystick. This means that you can choose any angle to connect it, you don't have a DIN-connector that can break, and you can connect/remove the grip very fast. Moza also uses a connection that doesn't need to be plugged in. However, it is unfortunate that they didn't show it more close up in the video. A rail-based, linear throttle, which doesn't exist yet in the high-end. Using an electric motor for the detents. VKB has promised us a rail-based version of the STECS with electric detents, but that could be years out. That said, I'd prefer to get one from an established brand like VKB over this company.
  15. Well, the Ford Raptor is supposedly 'inspired' by an airplane: https://www.torquenews.com/9539/2021-ford-f-150-raptor-takes-flight-fighter-jet-inspired-design I'm not seeing it, but then again, I'm not a BS'er* like the designer seems to be. *Bachelor of Sacrilege
  16. Looks like we are going to get an announcement at FSExpo.
  17. Fair enough. I don't know about all these niches.
  18. That's not what I said. In my country I can see the historic pricing for many tech products: Obviously it is no longer being sold. That doesn't necessarily make it worth a lot. Tech products do not typically gain price with age. Perhaps the price is reasonable. I just have a hard time imagining anyone buying a pot-based HOTAS that is this old, for this amount of money, given the pricing that one could buy it at in the past. Well, you edited in the price of both combined later on, so I only saw the separate prices.
  19. Of course you are free to ask what you want, but the Hotas Cougar sold for 170 euro new in the past, and your set must be over 13 years old, so I wonder if anyone would buy it at that price.
  20. Keep in mind that the X3D-processors are not that sensitive to RAM speeds, so buying extra-expensive memory and/or running things at the edge of what is possible, with the resulting tuning/stability difficulties is generally a waste of money and time.
  21. The issue with PCIe 5 drives is that they didn't have advanced controllers at first, which meant that the controllers were relatively slow and/or power hungry. Only now are we seeing that gradually change. So if you are going to get a PCIe 5 drive, it's better to get one with a new controller, like the Samsung 9100 PRO or the Lexar NM1090 PRO.
  22. According to the video he is making a generic WMR-driver, right? Not just for the G2.
  23. No need, since @LucShep was dishing out good advice as usual.
  24. Apparently, @mbucchia is working on a driver so that WMR headsets like the Reverb can keep working even after support is removed from Windows. Normally I'd be very skeptical, but if anyone can do it, it is him:
