Hi, I am a newbie and trying to solve a problem of undesignated target when using JDAM in TOO mode with instant fuse.This is my procedure: SCSW RT TO GET DIAMOND IN TOP RT OF FLIR SCREEN PRESS NOSE WHEEL STEERING 3 TIMES TO CLEAR ANY TARGETS AND GET DIAMOND INTO TOP OF FLIR SCSW ONCE FORWARD TO SNOW PLOUGH HUD WITH DOT IN CENTRE OF HUD SYMBOL NOW HUD SHOWS TARGET CIRCLE WITH VERTICAL LINE AND AIMING CIRCLE ( BUT IT DOES NOT !) THIS ALSO DOES NOT APPEAR IN HELMET AIMING SYMBOLOGY OF COURSE ! POSITION TRIANGLE ON TARGET AND DEPRESS THRT /DESG ONCE TO LOCK TARGET NOW BACK IN FLIR SCSW RT TO GRT DIAMOND WORKING IN FLIR SCREEN NOW PRESS SECOND TIME TO GET TRACK MODE IN FLIR SCREEN. I cannot get this far as the the circular target aiming symbol never appears. My understanding is that pressing nose wheel undesigate button three times clears out any previous settings and makes way for new target position to be dealt with. Is that correct because I cannot get it to work for me. Any help welcome thank you.David

Hi, I am a Newbie but working hard to improve. Trying to perfect the helmet target designation routine and it's annoying that my helmet display is offset to the left instead of in front of the line of my nose. It means I have to look out of the corner of my eye to the left or right depending which of aircraft I am looking. I saw a reference to this being able to be adjusted in special controls previously but currently cannot find this control on present version. I have tried Track IR changes but thats not the control I believe. Basically I want the display centred in my line of sight if possible

Hi. I am a newbie so this may be a stupid question but the manufacturer has no answer and suggested coming here. Fixed new button with 360 axis and centre click as TDC on throttle. Mapped to axis control and tuned axis for dead centre and movement level. All Okay but when I let go of the pressure on the button the Flir image skates around and ends up looking up . I have it designated to screen with the triangle bug but I see on many videos a much more steady and finer action than mine. Is it possible to set it so when you remove pressure it just stays in that place on the flip screen? Then you have a finer and more controllable situation How can I solve this please? Hi, Thank you for your reply appreciated. More novice questions I am afraid 1. We have Windows 11 speech recognition running in the background meaning I dont excite it just leave it switched on? 2. Then I have Voice Attack working as before and enter my commands into V/Aattck window as before 3. Viacom is then downloaded and installed as another background helper or it takes over from Voice Attack as the main interface and delivers actions in DCS in a window or panel. I have not yet downloaded Viacom until I understand the answers to these questions so I dont know if there is an instruction panel 4. Thats three systems to make this all happen or have I gotten this wrong I suspect ? David P.S how do I put my system spec in my message windows at the bottom of each panel please

Hi, I am new to DCS and have bought a new and highish end spec system with a fast cpu and top end graphics. Its all going through to a Corsair 48" curved screen and is functions very well and gives stunning results EXCEPT Voice attack !! Given I am relatively new to P.C.s as well as I normally use a Mac for my every day stuff I am going to ask some very basic and novice questions if I may please. 1. Windows 11 OS. Do I have windows "Speech recognition on in the background for Voice attack ? or is it completely switched off ? 2. When I do get an instruction recognised and working it firstly put up the blue options panel that would normally appear when you press escape. It then does the function such as raising the speed brake when you click on resume. I have checked for conflicts in the controls panel but cannot see any obvious ones. 3. I checked the Task manager and its using 37 % cpu and around 38% memory so by my reckoning its not doing this because of overload. Then sometimes after actually doing an event it stalls the program DCS completely and one has to revert to task manager to get out of it. 4. I have pointed the commands in the options panel to DCS game and have tried for instance "Half flap " recognised in the edit page but nothing happens. then say Full flap and its unrecognised sometimes but not others but no event takes place whatever the recognition report says. 5. I have tried using completely different words like Half Buttercup etc etc with the same results or lack of . Help would be very much appreciated if possible as I would really like to solve this but cannot have it unreliable or I revert to my "Stream deck " panel and forget it entirely. David
