Hello, great campaign. I have finished it and it was awesome. I did mission n. 9 twice and I had a problem with scoring in both times even if I killed all the sam and landed. - first time after I killed all the 3 sa6 I went for refueling (why not during night...) but after disconnected with the tanker the mission was kind of going back at the beginning with all the communications like "I am on station; sa11 active, mig 29, fence in..." and my buddy after refueling went back on "garden". I tryed to land but with no communication and even if I went in the hangar the mission of course wasn't complete and the points were just 50 so I skipped it finished the campaign... - second time killed againg all 3 sa6 NO refueling... all the comm were ok I landend, I got the mission success logo BUT the score was 60 ... what did I do wrong? In both mission all 3 sa6 went active and I killed all of them (I got the 2 south and wingman the north one) I checked with my tgp just to be sure In both missions all the strikes hit all the targets and I got "honey jar" message

If can help you I usually have two programs to use with two different buttons. Program 1 (or whatever you like) for chaff which is one button (I use right hand thumb). Program 5 for flare (but I change from the icp, cmds, 2 flares for 15 times total 30 flares instead of 2*20=40 flares) with my left hand. In this case scenario when I am 10 second north from the road 3000 feet I start dropping flare (2*15=30 flare program 5) and all the time the missile goes for flare. I did it couple of time and always worked

Hello, I just did this mission and everything was fine. I was cleared to RTB, everything was ok, passed the waypoint 6, no problem with russians so I tryed to refuel and I did it BUT when I finished refueling all the radio went crazy like if I just started the mission. Overload asked me if I was on station at backyard. Weasel 21 just said he was on station on windmill and my 22, Flash, was just following the tanker. I couldn't talk to anyone at the base...I just landed but of course I get just 50 point. I think that air refueling broke the mission in some way becouse when i disconneted I couldn't press "finish air refueling". I also found that all the bullseye are wrong (on the ICP I selected bull from the list) and on my mfd all works but the calls are with wrong data (not just in this mission but also in mission 8).

Hi man, same problem of you but you can always ask to repeat. Usually two times works fine to me...but even three times I am pretty sure that they will say it again and again. No need to go to message history I guess

Hello, thanks for the campaing, it is pretty awesome. I just fineshed another campaing with different radio flow so I am getting used to yours . Maybe I am built different and even if I really like the intro mission with all the things explained I am just a bit slow to understand things and I need my time. I really appreciate something to read...I need to read it a lot of time to fix things in my memory. Maybe next time if you can write down the few things to know it will be nice . Thanks again

I was very close to them, I could see the aircraft very well. I am pretty sure that I missed the chance to speak with popeye because at some point popeye said something like "we see the same Forest" but this sentence was out of context since the migs went away few minutes before, I was talkink to approch at that time. I think that I broke the some how the conversation and this happen also in mission 8. probably my bad -

Hello, I got the same problem with the migs. Never had the order to fire but just to drag them. I have watched two videos on youtube and I have noticed that they had the chance to talk to popeye and after they got the order to shoot the migs. I just had the call "merge" from sentinel or vacuum (don't remember). I will do it again for sure. Amazing campaign anyway -
You need to use the Oculus Debug Tool. Also you need to check if the last Nvidia Driver 560.70 are working ok for you. Peolpe say that there is a problem with the last driver and oculus and it is better to go back at 552.44 (I didn't try yet) I have a lot of stuttering and performance issue with the last update (not always but I can't play the campaign FIWOS because of stuttering even if I get all the fps that I need). I have a 4080s and quest 3

Hi, I just want to thank you. I tried all the things that you suggested, DLSS with preset F and 0.9, quadview and all the things connected and the game is completed different! it is just WOW. VR is tricky but thanks to all of you guys I have discovered so many things. many thanks. -

Hi all, do you think that Quad views is broked also in fixed foveated? I mean I see the good looking center square and the bad one in the peripheral but it means that I get some performance boost? I have just bought the quest 3 and just discovered the quad view from mbucchia and all the things that is going on so I never tried before the new dcs patch to make a comparison. -

hello, with this new dlss version you still need to change the preset? if so How can you change the preset? do you need the program DLSSTweaks?

I found this in the forum "Dynamic Foveated Rendering - Everything in one page" and I will try to read it and I found also this from you in another discussion "As VR Flight Guy in PJ Pants has said, try using QVFR in fixed mode. Set centre size to about 0.5x0.5 with 1.1-1.3 modifier and 0.4 peripheral resolution. Then set MSAA to x2. I use these settings on P4 with FFR and it gives me a nice balance of quality and performance. With DFR you can get away with an even smaller centre region so better performance again." So I will try this settings. The thing that cunfuses me is about DLAA, DLSS and MSAA with the upscaling that you suggested. So if I will have the resolutione of about 3200 (it should be around 1.5 times the regular resolution of quest 3) should I see the cockpit really well even if I put DLAA or DLSS (on quality)? and DLAA drops fps o help with fps? another thing, since that I have just the f16 and I can't compare with other cockpit, are there differences in these settings? I mean if everything works perfect for you (with a rtx4070) in the f18 can be different for me in the f16 with the 4080? I hope it makes sense thanks againg, few months ago I thought I was ok with fps and VR but apparently I am not ahahahahahah I get this things of shimmering around, clouds, building that is annoyng -

thanks so much. I will try at home this evening. So is it better DLSS now over DLAA when I reach 3200? anyway I will have a try. I also understood that I have to use the Foveated Rendering via Quad Views from mbucchia Do you have a discussion were I can get other informations? I have seen that you are in more than one discussion so I am pretty sure that you know a lot about it -

Hello guys, I have the quest 3 and a 4080. At the beginning everything was fine but after a while MSAA is not working anymore as usual. I'm trying a new set up. I've read all the topic but I am a bit confused. about resolution if I use just oxrtk and push the resolution to 3000 or so, why I have to do it again in the oculus app, or doing it again with PD to 1.3 for istance. Is not enough in just one app like oxrtk or PD in DCS? why doing it in more part? is not the same thing? I usually go with 1.3 PD in the game and oculus app 1x (72 hz) and oxrtk just turbo and no upcaling resolution but I am not super happy. thanks -
Hi, i have the 4080 and what i do is - standard resolution in oculus app with 72hz - increase pd in dcs to 1.3 -no anti aliasing (DLSS is really bad in Vr) do you use ASW or MSAA with this settings? what about shadow and do you have shimmering? thanks I like to try sometimes DLAA because helps with shimmering but I feel reduce the cockpit resolution and I struggle reading the content of MFD
