  1. Perhaps it's because the F-16, F-18, and Ah-64 are in active service and thus have a chance to attract more new customers. The Mi-24, having long since outlived its glory days, is no longer attractive to new generations. It remains a target for enthusiasts and lovers of Soviet engineering, and therefore, is no longer as profitable. That's my thought.
  2. This is just my personal opinion. Actually, such a subtitle on/off function shouldn't be difficult to implement. ED could probably add something like that to the menu. Unless I'm an exception. Have fun. The campaign is definitely worth the time invested. I'll definitely be returning to it. When I finish this one, I'll tackle Palestrael on the Mi-8 again. Another well-done campaign by ddgoofy. I saw that you finished the Yoyo campaign, and I agree with what you wrote. I've already finished it too.
  3. The campaign is of a very high standard. The dialogue adds a lot of realism and is a great addition. It's just a shame I can't turn off the subtitles; they're a bit distracting me. The missions are very well planned and offer a lot of variety. I enjoy the unexpected twists and turns of the action. I put on some music from that period (I really like it) and have a great time. In the ninth mission, I noticed slight differences in the flight directions given between the kneeboard and the cartographer.
  4. Could you elaborate on your statement? I'm curious what you're writing about.
  5. Thank God it's July 2025, and I'm wondering if anything has happened on this topic? I wanted to buy this map, but I won't. One of the most important British airfields of World War II was completely omitted, and we have an airfield that essentially didn't exist. Thank you, I'm not buying it.
  6. First of all, you never have a guarantee of hitting your target. It's expensive to fire at a target area with rockets. It's more intimidating, psychological warfare, and if you happen to hit something, you can only celebrate. Simply put, you need to know the effective range of the rockets and calculate the distance to the target from which you should fire the salvo. Raising the nose improves the rockets' trajectory. They don't lose altitude as quickly. They fly in a parabolic pattern instead of a flat plane. In real life, there are also corrections for atmospheric conditions, but I suspect you don't need to do that in DCS. So, for example, the rockets' range is 4km, you check the map for a 4km circle from the target. You fly on course to the target, arrive at firing range, raise the nose slightly 30°, and fire. Mission accomplished. ps. Watch your speed and nose lift so as not to fall.
  7. There's just one small problem: refunds can be made in the ED store, but how will this be handled on Steam?
  8. I agree with you. The cartographer works very well, especially on maps with two zoom levels. The Mi-24 was intended to be a simple tool, without any frills. Among older colleagues, it was common practice to draw the flight route on a map to reinforce the habit. Paper was the most important thing. As the era of the first Germins began, I saw fewer and fewer young pilots with a map, navigation slider, and pencil in hand. Just a small digression.
  9. I'm sorry, but the words just come to mind. "By their fruits you will recognize them." Best regards
  10. I think you misunderstood me. Unfortunately, English isn't my native language, and I have to use a translator, which probably doesn't convey the meaning of what I'm saying. I'm trying to say that I have the impression, the feeling of being disregarded when it comes to comments and observations regarding the Mi-24. For example, how long the topic of the official manual or the green light on the R-828 radio has been going on. These are just two of the most common examples. I hope it's clear now. I'm writing only on my own behalf, although I have the feeling I'm not alone here. Thank you
  11. Thank you for your reply. What you're writing about is called censorship, or as many prefer, moderation. What I wrote about is: we'll write whatever we want, and users should leave us alone. Thanks
  12. I've already written this in another thread, and I'll repeat it here. The amount of work and improvements made to the Mi-24 compared to the AH-64 is simply embarrassing. The team responsible for this helicopter should be ashamed. All we get is information that changes nothing and is only meant to silence us.
  13. Really? Will it be in Polish too? Shocking, I didn't expect that. I'm impressed.

  15. The scale of the work and improvements being made to the Mi-24 compared to the AH-64 is embarrassing. I wonder how much longer we'll have to wait for the OFFICIAL manual.
