  1. Thought I'd post this just in case someone finds themselves having this problem. So I noticed my x52 had developed this problem of repeater buttons and the fix was teamspeak related. I don't have teamspeak so I had to look for other possible culprits. Turns out after updating the geforce experience software, it had turned on the overlay. I had to turn the overlay off from the geforce experience settings even though I wasn't using any of the functions like recording or fps counters or anything. Now my x52 is back the way it is supposed to be. Working until it stops working again
  2. Is the WW2 assets module depedency intentional? What assets does it use so I can change or remove them as I don't have that module and don't have that much to spare.
  3. clearly lost the two fights I've had sofar. so join in for some well roasted meat.
  4. Hello. I've never fought a human opponent. So to save me some frustration, I've setup a server with immortal clients. The server is named "Highlander. Dogfight practise". These are the planes availible: F-15C, Su-27, P51, Mig-21, F86 If you have the time, please help me get some fights under my belt. I'll be waiting. You could also give me a time you would be availible so I could start the server then. Thank you
  5. The newer version of teamspeak doesn't have the option to turn directinput on. Older does. if you can't do this, teamspeak will conflict with the saitek profiler and macros don't work. EDIT: sorry I didn't notice the circled part. I changed it and it works. Thank you very much man
  6. I read that an older version of teamspeak would work with x52. 3.0.12 or something. Anyone know where to get this version?
  7. The first time I started the module, I ran the ramp start training. This issue was present, but inverted. I could turn the lights on but the knobs immediately started turning back off. After some time I started dcs again and ran the cold start instant mission and this time the issue was as described by OP. EDIT: Well I found a way to get it to work. Press the corresponding key to turn the rebellious knobs and you'll find that they not only stay where the key press leaves them, but also start obeying the authority of the mouse.
  8. I started to have similiar issues after changing my mobo and processor. It was bad. bluescreens and such. I read somwhere that removing or not installing the usb3 drivers would make the usb3 ports work as usb2. I did have usb2 ports on the front panel but was still having problems, so I gave it a go. This completely eliminated all the issues and crashes. I have most of the 8 usb ports in use without any issues. Now ofcourse you'll miss out on the improvement over version 2 usb, but I can't afford a better HOTAS at the moment and this solution lets me use the hardware I currently have.
  9. You need to use a shortcut to launch the program. If for some reason these were not created on the desktop when you installed, just create a new shortcut to dcs.exe or dcs_updater.exe. Then modify the properties of the shortcut and change the start-in path from X:\path\DCS World\bin to X:\path\DCS World . X and path point to the partition and path where the program resides on your computer.
  10. You flew way too slow. the red line is iirc 120 knots and you can even go past that. Just dont worry about the shuddering of the cockpit, its not the limit.
  11. I feel all warm and fuzzy inside. I fell for the shark again. I haven't really flown combat missions in the ka-50 before, just the courier and ship landings and some easy targets in self made missions. Boy am I glad I started this campaign. And its only the second mission I'm at. The first try ended in a tank shell right on the nose and lost hud. I flew her home for repairs but the hud never came back. Second try was embarrasing. After a sharp turn for a hover to get the tanks I went heads down for the shkval only to wake up to a violent shaking. I pull the collective and just as I do, I remember I'm really not supposed to and go for a dive for some speed. At that point I was too low but got it to slow down just enough to survive(not immortal pilot). The third I managed it. I just got greedy with the APCs and lost hydraulics. Oh btw if theres a warning to lower your gear, do it. I had already lost all hydraulics when I tried and the autopilot channels were all blinking. I ordered my wingman to get the two remaining apcs and head for home. It was a belly landing but a fine one at that. So thanks for the missions. I'll be getting jackal soon I Hope.
  12. Today I flew the jackal campaign's first mission with the ka-50 and the comms button just stopped working. Oddly I noticed that using the combionation altgr+\ worked. This is on the new 1.2.3 patch EDIT: btw the button on my keyboard is not the \ but ' and a star above it, but I think thats beside the point. Its the default comms button next to enter. FURTHER EDIT: Just checked its binded as spu-9 ptt in the options
  13. There is six degrees of freedom currently in a-10, p-51, ka-50 and the f-15 in flaming cliffs 3. There are other pits that are planned too.
  14. Saw this mission and decided I'd have a crack at aerial refuelling again. Before I've just managed short contacts and those always got me exhausted. Just now I managed a complete refill. I feel so badass. Thanks for the mission
