  1. Yes, that's is what I thought but maybe my original installation was from a very old executable. I was never asked what maps to install like this time! Thanks for your suggestions, again.
  2. Fresh clean installation Solve all issues. I should have done it sooner
  3. Well, issue resolved. Uninstall everythng and Reinstalled a fresh copy on DCS_World_Server and everything is oookey
  4. I did, again, even though no files were quarantine. Thank you for the suggestions though.
  5. I did add the DCS World Server folder into the allowed Apps anyway, to no effect, unfortunately
  6. No, but it has never been a problem until this morning when I updated to latest version. Is it a new requirement? AVG is does not seem to complain about anything related to DCS? Of course, no mods are present anywhere.
  7. After lates update, the dedicated server is crahing on start up. Recheck update and run a slow repair with no change. Log reports send each time.
  8. Ok, I appreciate it, thank you. I will keep looking for the answer.
  9. ...and I checked, the Essex and japanes ground units exist in the DCS World Server folders... However, if any Dedicated Server operators have managed to run the Marianas WWII map, please let me know. Maybe the problem is on me only.
  10. Thank you for the suggestion. I am not running any mods in either PC (client or server).
  11. I have also run a repair and an update on the server, just in case.
  12. For example https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YGoIG2tjZzs
  13. I have used the DCS_updater.exe install MARIANAISLANDSWWII_terrain command in the associate BIN folder of the DCS WORLD Server, the updater installed it and I see the MarianasWWII folder and subfolders under Mods/Terrains but when I start the Dedicated server and try to add a mission from that map, the mission is greyed out. What am I doing wrong. Any hints would be greatly appreciated.
  14. I apologize but I am looking for the answer too. Where to look for the Mariana Islands WWII installation for a Dedicated server? Pretty Please!
  15. Right and the Spitfire has something on a smaller scale but all other ones Bf109, Fw190s, Mustangs and rest have nothing, no smoke of any color or flames. Unless I am missing something? Pretty much all my settings are maxed...
  16. Is it problematic to the current code to incorporate engine startup effects on prop planes?
  17. I am wondering with all the amazing effects DCS has, how come prop planes do not have a proper engine start up effects?
  18. It is a little peculiar that this has not been implemented already. Maybe the team has run into a code conflict. The start-up is beautiful in all WW 2 planes. That effect will give me a sense of job well done.
  19. Rob10, I think I agree. I updated to the latest firmware and after a few calibrations, windows restarts, tinkering (the default pedal settings did it!) and a windows calibration (which allegedly I shouldn't use) finally I got them to behave. All zeros and although the bars for wheel brakes jump to the middle in the axis control section, inside the mission they seem to be working properly. I have done a DCS repair this morning, btw. The rudder pedals have been working fine for more than a couple of years now, so I looked at the latest change which was the update. Anyway, thank you everybody that paid attention to my issue.
  20. I am using the MFG Crosswind and after three recalibrations, DCS right wheel brake axis is back to 0 when not pressed. However, now both axes are extremely sensitive and they jump to 50% with the lightest touch. Something is off. At the calibration utility the numbers are correct 3%, 5% at light touch. I will keep trying different approaches just to see if I can shed some useful information.
  21. MAXsenna, in a lot of planes there is also an axis for both wheel brakes at same time. The problem is the independent right wheel brake axis that seems to keep sending input even when it is not pressed. One visit to axis section and on the right wheel brake axis, fine tune tab, you will see the IN and OUT boxes are not 0.
  22. The right brake axis does not work properly. I have tested it in the Fw190s, Bf109, F18, I-16. I think it is a global issue affecting all planes. I noticed that on the Axis Panel under fine tuning the IN and OUT box have ALWAYS a value and cannot be replaced by any other value. This affects also the collective braking. The right brake does not hold when the collective braking axis is activated. This behavior started with the latest update.
  23. Since the latest update, the boost gauge needle on the FW 190D is not moving when boost is on. The RPM gauge shows that the engine is being boosted.
  24. Mike_CK, I noticed similar behavior in WWII aircrafts flown by AI in multiplayer. I am guessing and hoping though that it is work in progress.
