  1. hopefully the strait of hormuz map will be big enough, but I would not let a small map stop me getting this plane !
  2. Because its a unique aircraft, the first only interceptor role specific aircraft in DCS, the fastest we would beable to fly in DCS and the cause of the F-15 I think it would be a serious seller.
  3. LOL, not a problem, and I don't mind donating my money to ED, probably the only game developer that deserves it.
  4. Mig-31 is rather advanced with too much classified data to accurately model. Simply buying a ride won't give you the information to model it. The Su-27SK and Mig-29A, G, S are old variants and have outdated and enough unclassified data to be able to model. I am sure they can get allot of data on it, just not enough for a DCS level standard.
  5. You're missing the famous Mig-28 :megalol: We will never see a Mig-31 module in our lifetime :(
  6. OK.. First of all I can't believe you made me buy the campaign to view your track, you must be a sales agent for ED. Second I apologize, looks like you can invert depart even with ASC disabled however I had to abuse the aircraft to do so and is most apparent at high altitudes. Third - Ok I tested this, with similar loadout and full fuel I went further to 10k ASL then 13k ASL and the aircraft trimmed out perfect, auto pilot also worked fine when I tested it. Note that I only engaged auto pilot at above ~500km/h ish speed to prevent oscillation. Check out my test track for reference, what is your settup ? - joystick, throttle, pedals. Might be a control issue or tune that is causing you so much grief. AltTest.trk
  7. You cannot 'invert' depart with ASC Direct Control disabled. You should never touch the magic button unless you're ready for a specific maneuver. The 27 is still in the early stages of development, the PFM is excellent however systems to tame its instability such as its flight computers and autopilot need attention. Give it time to develop. I will check your track out now :P
  8. Forecast today shows exactly 0% chance of a Mig-35 on the horizon :) However there is a high probability of an F-14 :pilotfly:
  9. I have actually directed a Mig-25 question to the LN guys in the past regarding information resource. Cobra847 responded: "LN have done no research on this topic (yet, possibly)." The version I personally would like to see is the PD variant, however the BM variant is usually fairly popular too.
  10. Well the answer is - yes you do loose rudder authority under X conditions, are those conditions correct ? I don't know but it seems about right.
  11. Hang on, watch the track closer and as he said> I see no reason why this can't be. Its plausible. He primarily used his engines to turn not his rudder.
  12. I'm currently running a multi-monitor setup totaling 6000x1440 on a single GTX 770 with all setting max except civ traffic on low, with 4x AA and 16x AF (forced). Runs excellent, my main monitor is a 3440x1440. If you got a single 970, it would pee it in. Just note, surprisingly there are allot of games out there including some AAA titles that have problems with 21:9 monitors. It takes a while for some to catch up I suppose. Also I have had allot of experience with SLI and if you play a game that completely supports it you will find enormous improvement as long as it doesn't bottleneck at your CPU. But also there are allot of games that don't support SLI which may force you back to using a single card which is not hard. There will be times where SLI gives you the shits but if you can put up with it, its worth it. The only reason why I am currently on a single 770 is because my previous cards SLI 580's have expired (cooked) and was going to use the 770 to get me buy until the 980 arrived for use in SLI. But I have found my 770 is more than enough for games I play for the moment and feel no need to upgrade right now.
  13. You wasted company time and bandwidth ! LOL where's your supervisor ! Yeah I am rusty. Its relatively hard and when your not smooth with throttle and pitch you start oscillating vertically as you can see, which tends to take most of your concentration and you loose track of altitude. But to me it feels very stable and safe to fly, at no point does it feel it might suddenly loose control and fall out of the sky. It gives you plenty of notice when you're starting to loose it, at that point just put on the gas and you're good. Credit to ED I think its a good start on the PFM.
  14. TacView can :) At the risk of showing how crap my flying is... Have not flown the 27 for a while but achieve some results, you can see when I push it too hard nearing AoA of 50 and above is where it wants to fall out of sky. Someone with more flight experience should beable to keep it consistent between 40 and 45. Tacview-20150107-035640.txt.zip
  15. Interesting, currently the way its modeled you can maintain level flight with AoA around 40-45 and sometimes cresting ~48 deg at approx ~130km/h That seem about right to you ?
  16. What is considered the critical AoA on the 27 ?
  17. oops wrong section.. ignore- Glad your doing better however :P
  18. Reference the centre of your HUD if the circles are to the right it wants you to correct to the right. If they are high on the HUD it wants you to fly higher to correct.
  19. You don't seem to be understanding how the ILS system works. Represented by 2 circles one small one big, these will guide you to the the deck. A perfect glide path with have the 2 circles over each other, however its not overly critical to have them perfect, just don't chase them around the HUD. Edit: And try keep them central on your HUD. Found an old video, its not perfect but close enough to give you the right idea.
  20. Are you sure it is the PFM modeling that needs attention to fix this issue ? Its only an opinion but I think its more flight computer related, and the lack of modelling in that department.
  21. Been a while since last I used the 15 so I'm sure i'll be corrected if necessary.. But I believe bottom left of your HUD will show somthing like: M X X M: missile in flight First number is time to pitbull Second number time to impact. Once missile is pitbull its off its leash.
  22. You nasty :D
  23. It makes perfect sense, and I do experience this myself. However try this just for experiment sake. Go into editor put your F-15 down with no weapons and less than 25% fuel and try loading up a turn under 500km/h. Don't jerk the stick to achieve your desired AoA just gently load up into the turn and you should feel rather stable and controllable, then work your way up in speed and weight/fuel and loadout and notice the different. However that being said as Blaze said the FM is not the best, all you can do for the moment is try to understand the quirk and control it.
  24. He means separate ailerons and elevator input such that before making a turn roll first then neutral your roll input before pulling up.
