IDF Mods Project | F-16D/I Mod V3.9 - Official Thread

Any news about the crashing problem? Are they gonna fix it? -
You're right, I've requested the admin to put my post back to the bug report forum. You're also right about the AAR Door opening timing. I've noticed that previously as you said I've opened it early, so this time i opened it just before contact to try to avoid the 'TRP' message. btw, the ED F16C Manual states that it's better to open the AAR door 3-5min in advance to fill the external tanks. Now about the whole 'TRP' warning and the suggested solution with steps 1-11 posted by SgtNickElis, it's not even from the official ED F16C Manual.. It's from a real-life manual. I don't think that a real-life F16 manual is relevant to the DCS simulator coding. in the end of the day, it's just a game. in real life fuel=liquid and gas=gas. in DCS it's just coding and i don't think that ED went so deeply detailed with it when creating the F16. Which makes me wonder why the admins backing this 'solution' as if it's the real thing. it's not. its a bug. And yes, it happens since the last update, good point.

Could you add info about the 'TRP FUEL' HUD warning?
-
Thank you, I just tried again right now, and here is the same problem without the 'TRP' warning: https://www.filemail.com/d/tbqdrexstkbbbxb (stated hot and cleared to contact at 5:10) So.. is it still the same problem even without the 'TRP' message on the HUD? should i still try the troubleshooting? is this a bug or a feature? I'm pretty sure its a bug. and ED should repair it..

Previous thread i made in the forum ("Solution" was wrong..) https://www.filemail.com/d/tbqdrexstkbbbxb - New Trk file (no TRP) watch from 5:10 Description of the problem: The 'KC135' wont refuel me. The moment i get a "Connected"- one second after, i get "Transfer Complete", "Disconnect". In my previous post i thought that its something with the external tanks and the %of fuel i set when creating the client plane, but i was wrong. I tested with my 'solution' again and got the same results. Here is what i know: Happens since the last update Happens in a Single player mission that i created & In a Multiplayer Server Happens in Syria & Caucasus Happens when i Air Star/Hot/Cold&Dark I completely deleted the game and re-downloaded + re-installed I have no Mods at all In search of the solution i tried many plane configurations of external tanks / fuel%, and the problem happens in each scenario. Just to clarify- Thru all the tests I've done, i think it happened once with a clean config jet also, so not sure its about the ext-bags. It happens 70% of the time, and sometimes just randomly not. Happened even when i threw all my external tanks and my total fuel hit below 1,000 - same "Transfer Complete" I Tried to play with the AAR Door/Timing/Tanker Com/other fuel switches - nothing helps. Not 100% sure but i think that once the bug 'happens', it contaminates the session.. and every respawn with any jet regardless config. No 'unlimited fuel' in my settings nor map editor. Not the Beta version. Haven't tested with other aircraft, only got the F16. Thanks

AAR bug? "Transfer Complete- Disconnect" the moment i connect.
Max107 replied to Max107's topic in DCS: F-16C Viper
KC-135 (boom) thank you, i will No 'Unlimited fuel', i start with 100% fuel but i do lose fuel until i try to reful, 2,000lbs atleast (12k to 10k or less) -
Update: The 'Solution' does not fix it. Link to the Report: Report Hey guys, As the title says, The moment i connect and get the "connected" message, right after i get the "transfer complete-disconnect" message. what I'm asking is What is the exact thing that causing the bug? additional info: AAR Door open enough time in advance Fuel is not full or near full No 'unlimited fuel' selected boom connection and flight skills are not the issue the tanked is KC135 and is a "tanker=a" in the mission editor fuel switches set correctly same problem on Syria/Caucasus maps i tried to open/close the AAR door and re-request connection several times tried with different fuel quantities (and even dropped the external tanks - problem continued until i ran out of fuel. Thanks. UPDATE + SOLUTION: I think i found the problem- e.g #1: i start a flight with ext tanks & with not fully fueled jet-> no problem - everything works fine i connect and refuel. e.g #2: i start a flight with ext tanks & with fully fueled jet-> i try to refuel after losing some fuel (obviously from the ext tanks automatically)->problem Note: When putting external fuel tanks, you cannot set the fuel amount in them separately; you can only chose the "fuel%" which one would assume is the internal jet fuel- (Wrong). Because when you put less than "fuel 100%" and start the flight, you will see that the externals aren't full and the Internal is. My conclusion is that there is a bug that wont let the tanker fill you if the inside-fuel-tanks are full. that's why he's keep telling me "tRaNsFeR cOmPlEtE - dIsCoNneCt"- He sees me as fully fueled because he only cares about the internal tanks. Solution: Whenever mission editing a client plane- lower the "fuel%" to 99%, this way, after losing the fuel in your external tanks, the tanker will fuel you because initially he will see that you're not 100% full (which this is the core bug i think). Calculations: Internal fuel capacity: 7,163 External wing tanks(x2) fuel Capacity: 4,950 Combined: 7,163+4,950=12,113 so if you reduce the jet fuel by 50% you should expect: 7,163-50% = 3,583 + 4950 = 8,532 Total fuel when the externals are full and the internals are 50% empty. And this is what you indeed get in the jet when you start the flight. so how do you explain this: (pic below- internals full and externals.. some %tage empty lol --- Now, am i the only one suffers from this bug?
