That was bullshit, my heart stopped for a second. :cry: I'm hoping most people will use the torrent so I everyone can get UBER d/l speeds, and those that don't use it won't bog up the servers.

I really wish more servers would use TARS and be password-free. But it's nice flying with a group of buddies, especially once you learn how to communicate efficiently. Would it be cool with you guys if I invite my buddy Ronnie when there's an empty slot? He's normally only available on weekends, but I thought I'd make sure.

It's completely revolutionary for die-hard LockOn fans like myself. DEFINITELY helps with the paranoia.

I had the opportunity to fly on a buddy's server today, and took some fun screenies. SPYDER hosts a MP server with 4 slots currently, and we also use TS with the TARS plugin. I can't speak directly for him, but from what I gather, he enjoys the company of random pilots, and wouldn't mind people joining. There is no server password, and ping is reasonable.

I'm all for the pilot. The pit seems empty without one. And more cockpit shadows means less framerate for me.

Great mission man. Haven't successfully completed it yet, got taken out by some AA even after I called the strike eagles in :) Also, I think my wingman crashes when I duck into the valley with the other hog. I'm sure you're already aware of this though :)

I have a bad past with Steam. On a brighter note, WHO'S READY FOR BETA 6!!??? Can't wait for the release but like Heater said take your time :) you had me at beta 2

So after playing a lot in the Nevada map, the question occurred to me (as I'm sure it has to others), will DCS make an Iraq/Afghanistan map in the future? Completely random thought, just curious to see what might be on the minds of the developers once the product is finalized and they have more time to have fun with map making. I'm completely stoked about the ability users will have to create maps.

F-16C FALCON! Now's our chance to finally kick the Falcon series in the teeth! I'm hoping that the next sim DCS releases will be using the exact same game engine so that they can just include multiplayer support with Warthog. Wouldn't that be a blast?
