Thanx yeah had an issue with the KA 1.2.4 last time around so, can be painful watchin time go buy after havin to uninstall an re-install 8)-

Guess i'll have to try it had issues last time with it not being compatible maybe i'm thinkin to much into it. Can't wait dl'n.

Are u guys dl(patching) 1.2.6 DCS World plus all other modules than installing DCS MI8? or vice vs?

Played it briefly, nice an all but just couldn't get into it. I'd say release it with some decent starter a/c for say $29 or so vs all this hub ub of buyin this an buyin that. Easy to get sucked in. I'm already suckered into a free game that u can buy extra weapons etc. (Planetside2)

Would buy this in a heartbeat, an re-install the P51.

Don't feel bad Silver I almost did the same thing but warning flags appeared with the (a) behing the module names so I didn't buy. To support ED either way wouldn't have mattered to me anyways, like me an ArmA I buy several copies etc expecially if the Dev is a good developer like ED/BI are the investment is worth it..if u wanna look at it that way. Not like the game is disappearing anytime soon. An I'm on meds an half nuts an own every module too.

I was being sarcastic 8)- after seeing that first photo 8)- As first pic I've seen of the inards of one. As far as easiness I dunno, I only worked briefly on tanks in my time (M1) but I would imagine they'd be on the same pg an make the vitals easy to swap out/repair I just know I saw that 1st pic an seemed a lil complicated.

Ok I had the original DCS BS but lost my cd an want to play DCS BS2 so I purchased BS1 via steam. 1. Is there a cd key issued via steam? I can't find it if there is. 2. Will DCS World 1.2.4 recognize my DCS BS1 Steam 1.2.. install so I can install DCS BS2 1.2.4? If not whats the best way to install for DCS BS2 since BS1 is required. Thanx, Kirk-Call911 Sorted... Yeah it's definatly an ongoing study sim, expecially for players like me who had zero flight sim exp. Have had this since beta an it was slow an sometimes confusing/frustrating at times. Played a mission (Pilot Search) last nite an was a lil intimidated at first by myself. My 1st run on wp1 I scanned wp1 with TGP than made a run in with a 105 from like 12000 an bomb hit as expected an 38 bad guys kaput on one pass..woot whats not to like about that 8)- Just takes time an some patience/persistance. As my friend says "This Sim is like crack." have been hosting a practice mission with labels on that alot of fun but also has a actual mission to it feel free to hop in anytime. http://youtu.be/ruxB1LbXVE8

Ah man, got this at beta an been at it ever since. And I'm still a noob at it. Probably the most rewarding, money spent on a video(game) sim I've ever purchased. I had 0 hrs in any sim an tooo was intimadated by the sheer complexity/realism of the A10 but the intimadation goes away over time. Totally worth the $ I've since than bought every module released from DCS an looking forward too more.

Can I keep it?

Finally Success 8)- I tried it once but did'nt havr port set up right finally called my ISP an they checked an corrected my errors(had ports in wrong) needless to say it's working thanx for the help. Cal911-Kirk

Yup I tried that yesterday using the steps provided in previous post u mentioned. It did'nt show anything relating to applications/gaming but it did have a port forwarding tab an I tried putting the two ports suggested but did'nt do somthing right as it did'nt accept it. Will look more closely at it again tomorrow an try again.:thumbup:

Yeah Blooze tried helpin me earlier on TS an still no joy he could'nt see it. I googled the model an name an it showed as a wireless modem though I'm plugged straight into it. Gonna call my ISP tomorrow.

CiscoDPC3825 DOCSIS Gateway I did everything suggested above as best as i can an than installed DCS World on my laptop in differnt part of house on wireless an ran MP an server I host on gaming pc does'nt show in mp list. Though not sure if theres a conflict with hosting on 1 computer an joining on with laptop on differnt. An thanx for the help guys, maybe you can see figure somthing out with that.

Yeah my internet provider gave me the ip adress to manage that an i saw a forward port tab in there will call my provider an get support as we have wireless here also for our laptops though I'm hooked into the modem.
