With the change of the new layout of the lockOn site it seems that something has happened to my sig image. I have tried the different ways of adding it, but all I get is a link or no link...can someone help me?

I will say that I’m not sure how to react to the news that FC is it for LockOn, besides a patch that may or may not come out. I started out flying Comanche Gold, one of three games out the “Ultimate Flight IV series”. I then moved to Apache Longbow Assault, which was not a bad game. I then came across LockOn modern air combat demo, and was hooked. So I started out flying helo’s and hog’s and it looks like I may be reverting back to the way I came into the siming world. I liked flying helicopters and wanted to fly the A-10 in LockOn and found out there was a lot more to LockOn…like flying the F-(freak`in)15! I have enjoyed the game, the patches, FC add on, the community and all the friendships I have developed over the years ever since. So with DCS BS it’s just going to be a wait and see thing. I don’t like the fact that I’ll have to wait to fly the AH-64 and won’t know which will be first…the AH-64 or the A-10. I know that money is what makes the world go round and I don’t expect anything for free, but marketing DCS BS like MS flight simulator…you are going to have to pay for each AC add-on. This may get a little spendy and MP issues might stop a lot of group play. Personally, I would have rather waited until there were two flyable AC...one red…one blue…or even better a complete package of AC, but that’s just me. I’ve waited this long…another year or two for a complete MP game would have been worth it to me. I have supported ED and their decisions all along and will continue to support them buy purchasing DCS BS when it comes out. I just hope the AC add-on’s are not high priced…that would signal a red flag to me and put my loyalty to ED in question. But for now, I’m 100% behind you ED.

WoW! that was very quick...ED fixed my issue within 10 minutes of my email being sent! Again, great job and great game!

P.s. Now I’m going through the issues of purchasing via the “Buy again” button. Which will not confirm or deny that my transaction was made…so no LockOn today? This feels painful already…why did I not by the CD!:doh:

I have enjoyed this game so, so much, and because of this game I’m currently on my 3rd computer. Yes my 3rd computer… which by the way was not cheap. And as the story goes of course I had to reinstall LockOn, FC, 1.12a, season package and everything else that is associated with playing this game correctly. I am not whining or crying about I have no more activations remaining, I have saved keys and they did not reactivate the game. I’m not going to ask ED for more activations, I’ll just re-buy the add-on for $14.95. Don’t know why they don’t just make it and even $15.00 bux. I just wanted to point this out, 20bux for LockOn, 35 bux for FC (when it came out), and $14.95 to repurchase more activations…total=$69.95 US bux. I don’t know how many activations I’ll get with my new purchase of Flaming Cliffs, but I do hope it’s more then 15. For some odd reason I seem to blow right through the dam things like a hot knife through butter. Anyway, thanks for such a great game and more fun times ahead.

This is how I fixed my “Track IR Clip” problem…I put the thing in my drawer. I bought it thinking it was battery operated…:doh:when I found out it was USB I gave it a try anyway…after I woke up from almost asphyxiating myself with headset and clip wire during a dog fight…I put it in my drawer.:)

Great Job! I can’t believe I watched the whole thing (Red Flag TAC view file)…twice! And it was very interesting to say the least. I found a little time in between clearing (if you have been in the military you know what that means…retirement after 24yrs of service) to look at the track. I watched the now famous “JoJo” shot…sucked to be on the wrong end of that “9”. I salute all who participated in that historic event and hope that each squad awards a Red Flag ribbon to their pilots. I’m not going to beat a dead horse dealing with the rules or about what was right versus what was wrong. Another salute to the personnel (you know who you are) that took the time to make it happen, grateful the community should be. My hope is that something as monumental as this will only get bigger. Again, I salute you all!!

I would just like to see the stinger teams and avenger crews launch at the right distance. And that the SA-7/8 go to being chase weapons, as they are in real life. They do not shoot head on.

As of now, there have been no reports of said action. The F22 is in japan but no news of such action has been heard...Srtars and Stripes would be all over it....trust me!

Short story... Silverliu, I feel for you brother, when I started playing LO I had a Dell 2350…:(I tried to play LO and all I got was garbage on the screen. So I turned to HL and asked some questions and found out I needed a video card…:doh:I went and bought an ATI9200, put it in and garbage came out. Asked HL again and found out I needed more then 256 of ram.:doh: So I bought and up-graded to 512 of ram. Worked good but not as good as some, so I bought an ATI9250 video card, believe it or not, LO worked like a charm. But I ended up buying another card, FX5500 and it too worked well. Then after a small sodering accident :doh:(trying to wire some fans together with the computer running, by the way is not a good idea) which burnt out my MB and PSU… I was about to tap out of the flight sim world. But after 3 days of crying :cry:my wife let me up-grade (not to much) a little. So I bought a BFG6800GT OC, new MB with AGP slot, gig of RAM and an X Connect 550 PSU. A new CPU was out of the question so I took what I could out of the deal. As you can read my road to playing LO has been a long and hard one. But, with the help of the LO community I’m still here after three years or so.:thumbup: Don't give up!! P.s. Although I do still bare the scares of all the “LoL” I got when I announced I just bought an ATI9200 in the chat on HL.

Well, I got the shaking to stop but I’m just not happy with the clip. It may take sometime to get use to. But thanks for all the help.

Rgr, Had that set correct, went back to the vector (using the hat clip) and got the samething. I’m getting violent shaking, it’s like an earth quake…started when I switched to the Track Clip and getting the same thing with the vector. I’ve never had this happen before.

Ok, I’ve had Track IR3 Pro since it came out, up-graded to the vector expansion clip and have been happier then hell with it. Because I enjoy the natural point products so much I purchased the Track Clip Pro. Right now it works, but in no way as good as my vector clip. The Track Clip Pro is working like crap; it’s making my cockpit shake, it pans slowly and sticks at certain points. Anyone have a fix before I email natural point? And the IR lights don’t turn off when you shut down the Track IR, they told me they will last for 11 years. I’ll be putting that theory to the test. I do have the latest drivers installed.

I agree with Cali, I just hit the recover button and go looking for the guy. Just kidding…:laugh: I fear every new guy in any aircraft flying in his first multiplayer session on my side. Reason, because I know he’s going to shoot me at least once.:gun_rifle:

Rgr Cali....they are lift lines...lol My issue is the out of focus terrain, I do currently have my LOD clamped. Could this be the issue?

I have Nvidia card...BFG6800GT OC, I will try the lates drivers and see what happens.

This has been happening to me for sometime now, I can’t remember when it started but it’s really bothering me now. I have tried changing my settings…low…med…high, terrain load, visibility…all that with no success. Any help would be appreciated. See how some of the land is in focus and some is not.
