Walmis, It’s a shame that things like this happen. I only speak for myself but I know the whole community feels the same. Your hard work was not in vain, you gave us a great model that is truly fantastic. I retire in a few months, so if your ever in NC…Fort Bragg area…PM me and I’ll try to pay off some of the beers that were promised to ya! Again, thanks!! P.S. And “Ice”, few of them beers got your name on them too!

If someone would set up an account for walmis so he can get the tool he needs…I’ll kick’in the first 10 bux to help save his project. And that is no BS! That is if no one can help him.

You know, I have tried in vain on so many attempts to use the “AVI” tool. I gave up along time ago and have come to the conclusion that I will never be a LockOn movie maker…sad but true. With no information in any manual to be found on how to use this tool, you’re left to the mercy of the community for any kind of help. I know that the budget is tight at ED, and manuals are low on the list of priorities of things to do. I just like having something to read so I can better understand things to complicated for me to figure out. Like the AVI tool in LockOn.

Who plays online and who does not.

On-line all the time unless I’m doing squad training. In the beginning, when I was new and not in a squad, my unofficial trainer was S77th GOYA and most of the S77th. They made me learn quick on how to type “GK”! -
So according to you “Prophet” turning on my jammed then counting to five in my head (not thinking about it) and turning it off then five count again then on again is an “Exploit”? And using my thumb to do this is an AFK Gaming cheat? Because “Wikipedia” defines AFK gaming as this: AFK (Away From Keyboard) gaming is a technique used typically by multiplayer online role-playing gamers, but also can be theoretically used by any other game genre. AFK gamers use software, either in the form of a bot or a game's built-in macro system, to continuously do a repetitive task for them, over and over. It also gives the player a significant competitive edge against other players. So mussel memory (human software)+(using my thumb without thinking about it) (macro) is now considered a built-in macro. I throw myself at the mercy of the court…it’s true…I’m a cheater!

I don’t think there is much to debate, how you use ECM is up to the pilot. Same holds true with using flares or chaff, sometimes they help and sometimes they don’t. Flashing your jammer (turning it on and off) is up to the pilot; some people don’t like it and say “you’re cheating”. I would say flying low using ridge lines or hill tops to break locks is cheating too…but I don’t. It is a tactic that you could and would use in real life. If the ECM has a on and off switch (and it does)…then you can use it. Again how you use it is up to the individual pilot.

Good one I concur good find, just wish some smart people would do one for LockOn. Again, if I was 1/10 as smart as some people in the community I would help out in making a guide. All I know is “delete two files” and “put my vector on and fly”. That is the extent of my technical expertise. one coming at ya!

Tailfin Lights Ok, I have come to the conclusion that I have to much time on my hands. While flying at night I noticed the red tail fin light did not illuminate. After further investigating (like I’m some kind of detective) it appears that the wrong item is lighting up on the left tail fin. Walmis, these are just some findings…take care of the important stuff then if time permits…maybe you can work in some more eye candy. In game shot, top left bulb illuminates white. Actual shot, bottom left (bulb) light is white and bottom right (bulb) light is red. Just a suggestion Walmis…by the way….did I tell you this model friggin rocks!!

The things one can do with photo shop30! :megalol: -
I can not speak for Russian aircraft but all US military aircraft have IFF. Jamming a missile should have no affect on a US aircraft ability to identify friend from foe. The transponder in all US aircraft will respond to a challenge with either a MODE 4 or MODE 3 reply. The only time it would come back with an unknown response is if the pilot turned it off or it was inop. Even if the MODE 4 code was wrong or ran out, it would still give a MODE 3 reply…possible friend. I think this needs to be implemented in LockOn, people running around with jammers on all the time (and you know who you are) is unrealistic. Jamming a missile is real, jamming IFF…is not! Thats why we have IFF, because they do not...if you do not get a reply of 4 or 3....then it's dead...smoking...ash...ball of fire in the sky!! "Air Defense warning RED+Weapons FREE"=DEAD aircraft if you come back with an unknown reply.

Question urze, What affect does the end portion of the collective (meaning add weight ) have on the friction screws ability to maintain it’s position…meaning, if I pull the collective all the way up will the end weight pull it back down? And by the way, great work! rep inbound

I think it’s the Air force getting back at the Army for taking the 120 and putting it on a truck and calling it a Humram…lol And the PAC-3 can be linked to targets by many means…all classified of course. But man, I would like to see what and F-15C looks like with PAC-3’s hanging off the wings.

Walmis All I can say is WoW! At first I thought that my very small suggestion fell on deaf ears, but that could not have been farther from the truth. I had only hoped that it could done, and just like that you did it! I have been told that there is no such thing as perfection; some have used that term to describe paintings, literature and other great works of art. I think we (the LOMAC community) can add your F-15 to this list.
