  1. its beautiful , but I dont need a bomb range. Now if it were Iran , Iraq or somewhere real ... Not a sandbox to play in Id be more interested.
  2. Well if its deliberate I can give them a pass. I guess everything that looks like a bug and acts like a bug, isnt a bug ;)
  3. Annoying that when they were making the sim they didnt notice that they were missing out sections of the map in some sizes. grrr
  4. The manual could be a bit more helpful here I think. Thanks for the input to those that made positive contributions.
  5. When Im looking at my map in the tad there are sections of it that are black. Not all of it , just rectangular patches of it. Odd as if I zoom in or out these sections of the map may reappear. Its like certain sizes of parts of the map are missing and they default to black. Is this a bug?
  6. Im just learning how to use GBU's Im having a problem with laze time. I set for changes for the profile. I get into the profile page and set auto laze. Ok so far. I dont know if I put time in from the scratch pad and then press laze time or other way around. Ive tried both and neither work. Its like Im not getting anything from the scratch pad. Laze time in the profile is defaulted to 0 seconds. not really useful and I cant alter it. This happens both in the training mission and in quick mission. I had this problem with the beta and thought it a bug. Now is first time with 1.07 and its still doing it. Hope someone can help here. Using windows 7
  7. Any talk about what the next sim is? Yes I already have A 10, but Im thinking of the future already. Any ideas as to the next sim. Still the Apache? ( which is great incidentally ) Personally Id love a Hornet but I seem to remember that this would require a whole new radar map system for ground attack.

  9. Im trying to work out how to program my cougar fro speedbreaks. Currently it appears that you have to continuously push breaks to open them and continuously push breaks to close them. Previously its been easy to program the speedbreak switch on the HOTAS with a click to open and a release click to close and switch goes back to center condition. This doesnt appear to work in Warthog as you have to continuously hold the button to keep it opening or closing. Is there a solution? Id like a switch open speadbreak. Switch closed speedbreak closed solution if possible
  10. Ive installed A10 in 32 bit as advised . I have a tir 4 using version 5.1 software. as advised I have it running as administrator. I run A10 64 bit version as administrator and it sees the tir. blue light on. When I attempt to start a mission I get a freeze on attempting to boot the load screen and get a not responding message. Windows 7 64 bit. If i run A10 without administrator it works fine. But no track IR. same in 32 and 64 bit. Any ideas? Yes I have searched the forums :(
  11. Im reading about references to a patch but cant find any official threads re this. Anyone got a link to some info. Dual monitor support is high on my list of wants. ( rather than this split screen thing that doesnt work in Vista )
  12. Theres a leclerk and leapard in the game. Despite those vehicles being from a political sphere that is unlikely to field them exept in UN policing. Britains Challanger is totally missing but they add the Worrior IFV. wtf is that about. Britain and the USA are the most likely opfor and the game misses out on one allies MBT. But includes of all things the Leclerk. Doesnt make sence to me.
  13. frederf, I got shot down by a hawk in the ambush senario at 75m altitude. I never even knew it was there untill I checked the tacview acmi after the mission :(
  14. Since " search the forums" doesnt answer the question. Just saying "because it doesnt " isnt really helping either. The question is why didnt they put one in. They have the teck why didnt they fit it. Saying in the battlefield they wouldnt use it if there were sams doesnt fit eaither. Radar controlled guns are common and deadly, deployed right on the front line.Having even the most rudementary rwr would be a real boon. If other choppers have one why not this one? Its got to be down to weight , cost or size?
  15. Shame this chopper doesnt have any sort of RWR. No way to tell when your getting painted by radar. I would have thought this would be an essential piece of kit . Maybe it weighs too much? but then the Apache has one ans so does teh Havoc I think... Dont understand its omission.any ideas?
  16. Interesting watching the mission in tacview. Only way I spotted the long range sam that got me. Going to have to fly lower next time :( Shame this chopper doesnt have any sort of RWR. NO way to tell when your getting painted by radar. I would have thought this would be an essential piece of kit . Maybe it weighs too much. Dont understand its omission.any ideas?
  17. Even with the auto start its still irritating having to wait minutes for the chopper to start when what I want to do is fly.Flight sim , not button pressing sim ;)

  19. Im using newest track ir software . I have updated the games list. Track ir is not responding in game. It works untill close to when the mission is loaded then the blue light goes off. Track ir on leaving BS is found to be not responding and has appeared to crash. using visa home edition. Have used this sim ok on an xp setup.
  20. Can we get back on topic. Is there a fix fro the artillery stuttering effect?
  21. Anything that can optimise things? this is pretty bad if I cant have even 4 artillery guns in a mission :(
  22. I had a group of 4 paladins firing against infantry in a mission I made myself. It seems to get really slow when the guns start firing. I think Ive also seen this in missions where theres a lot of missiles getting fired at the same time. The stock mission "battle" is a total slideshow.
  23. When I have a mission where artillery is firing the game becomes an unplayable slideshow. Is this a bug ? otherwise it plays fine.
